HEy guys need help. just passed today. Looking to buy a FT Kips from bike shop.WAs quoted 2k machine price. 500 downpayment. but in the end plus all the stuff he just told me 140 per mth for 2 yrs installment. From what i calculated 140*24+500(downpayment) = 3860 leh. SO ex sia u think i'm being chop for this ? i seriously think so haha.

neon tube?

which wire to link to will depend on when u need the extra lights to be on

and if u are having hard time locating the wire for headlight

i agree that its a gd idea to tap from the tailight

works the same

u juz need to figure out which wire is for the taillight and which is for the brakelight

how's the condition of the ride?

im not too sure whether its the norm for COI bikes to be so exp....

i fit sumthing like neon light.... i use the cold cathode tube for computer 1.... anyway i install it already... not bad looks quite nice.... but everytime i on it.... i abit scared later got tp behind me i die..... i onli on when i go jb... safer.....

its not COi lar. Its from the shop. No haven see bike yet. The shop only have FU plate. My fren said FU more ex so ask the bike shop to find FT plate. But guys In the final price right. It includes machine,insurance,name transfer, interest for loan and what else ? i still dun get it why that guy jus keep clicking den suddenly show me the price to pay per mth.

 

 

Insurance is under my fren's 3rd party fire&theft $$360 and add me as subrider. If using my name as first owner insurance cost almost 500.

u cannot put under ur fren name le mah.. nw all insurance is the least experience rider.. and 2nd party is then fire+thieft.. mine 2nd party, 18 yrs old and kawa - $840

oh yar somebody enlighten me on the components that are involved in the final cost of the bike ?

 

eg. Machine price + insurance + name transfer. is that all ?

but from ppl in the forum better..

 

NTUC 3rd party for 21 and below is abt $400

LTA fee ard $60

if u let bike shop do transfer for u normally add $20

 

i sold my FT krr at march to a member in this forum at 1.9k

he use his dad name for insurance $185

LTA fee let deli motor do total add up is $80

 

$2165 he is on the road aready..

 

$3860 abit too much le lah

at 2003 when i got my krr machine price is 2.4k

i pay $500 downpayment which include road tax LTA transfer and insurance all in

the most he can earn $200

 

then my installment is 105x24=2500plus

2500plus + 200 that they earn frm me eariler=-2700 which is 2 years plus interest

NTUC used to base the insurance premium on main rider

but now they changed already...they take into consideration the rider w/ lesser experience and quote premium based on that

 

anyway so the price u mentioned = pay full cash??

then its way too expensive

w/ $3K u can get something like FW or FX plate frm pte seller already

but w/o insurance etc lar

 

the list atom08 gave is for new bike

 

for 2nd hand bike pay using full cash:

1. ownership transfer fee

2. insurance premium

3. machine price

 

for 2nd hand bike using COI:

1. pay 3mths of installment in advance*

2. ownership transfer fee

3. insurance premium

4. reloan paperwork charges*

 

*price vary frm shop to shop

heh guess wad, today got into a minor accident. sian man 1 by 1 our fellow krr riders getting into accidents..

 

lessons learnt: make sure there's no helmet hung on the side of your bike before u plan to corner very low. and also wear gloves!

sorry to hear about ur accident, but welcome u to our accident grp !! hw's the demage to the bike? injuries to urself? i always hang my extra helmet one dun really coner low, dunn dare yet.. anyway speedy recovery, i still haf 2 mths left..

my bike is still ok thank goodness, only some scratches at the bottom on my right fairing but main thing is im ok. minor flesh wounds, but right palm hurts abit.the skin got peeled. haiz spoil my day only.

actually i'm not sure leh he just told me 500 downpayment plus 140 everymonth for 2 years. He told me ft plate and will do up the bike. I think it includes a paintjob too... SO u think its cheaper if i can get it private? Cause the machine price only 2k
