hey guys im riding a Y2K model and my bike engine oil is leaking badly...just wanna ask..does the bike have a oil seal near the small spocket close to the engine? someone pls help...im clueless now...so is there any oil seal i could change?to stop the leaking? pls help thanks!!

erm guys since i buy my RS125 till now alrdy 1month and a few days le...but still my rear brake have this screetching sound n it is very very embarrassing to use my rear brakes on road...scared ppl hear it...:X sounds like ah pei bike...go to 3mech at different shops they say it is alrght brake pads still alot of life disc brakes oso gd gd condition...then say maybe need time to wear it out...but now i alrdy ride around 2k mileage on my own le....still the sound is there...how? wad's the prob man? any help?

 

2nd question...this one more important...lol...

after i ride for quite long like more than 30km ride continuous...after i park the bike...got this smelly burnt smell coming out from my exhaust...my fren say it is partial burnt 2T...say my 2T flow too much...is that true? should i adjust it? it was okay when i used the shell VSX semi synt 2T for running in...now changed to castrol racing 2T then got this smell...maybe is the flow rate faster for castrol fully synt 2T? i read the manual it says rs125 pump can adjust from 1%-3%...mine is stock tuned...which % is it in ah? n best condition for using castrol 2T is wad %? most likely going to change 2T to fuchs silkoline comp2 after this finnish...and stick with fuchs next time liao...any advise? the smell is awfull when my frens follow behind mi :S then no choice i have to follow last...

ah long~!!! when u wan go roundin?? tink ur brake pad tio sand so gt screeeeeeeching sound.. lolx! go ask mechanics use air gun blow out the sand norhx.. no harm tryin..

lol jeffry...haha i alrdy tried blowing air liao...n clean up the calipers n disc but still got sound lei...sounds like metal screetching metal leh...how? and should i change the brake pads to EBC double H brake pads for front n rear?

I will need to settle my DRZ mods first as i need it urgebtly for transport, then RS125 as it my most beloved then lastly RS250 as i need ard a yr or so to fully understand the RS250 before i start modding...

 

Eventually the RS125 and RS250 will be mirror image of each other in all aspect

can put but u gotta remove/shift the right switches to somewhere.. but nt realli practical.. ours is gd enuff no nid 4 fast throttle.. if u going bukit merah u can try racewerks behind hkl..

guys... pls be careful when riding in congested expressway. especially on rainy days.

 

 

i just skidded just now due to a car cutting in and hitting the brakes to pull to a stop suddenly on aye just now:angry: . the car in front of me had to jam brake to stop. i used my front brakes initially trying to stop but couldnt stop in time. so i used my rear brake and fished tailed.

 

now my handle bar is bent and i had a piece of my fairing chiped off.

 

i was keeping about 2 car length between the car and myself. travelling at 55-60 kmph.

 

i was afraid to hit my front brakes too hard. fearing that i might pull a stopie suddenly. i didnt like using my rear brake as i had history of fishtailing when i use it. however. i had to use it if not i will hit the car in front of me. that will be a horrible scene. so i fishtailed. and dropped my bike.

 

moral of the story?

 

LOOK OUT FOR CARS TRYING TO CUT IN ON CONGESTED EXPRESSWAY

 

-keep ur brake pads in check. make sure they allow u to stop by a reasonable stopping distance.

- ride slowly on rainy days.

- WEAR PROPER CLOTHING WHEN RIDING!! - i escaped this with some abrasions on my left arm thanks to the rain coat.

- keep a safe distance from the car in front of u

- dont ride in between lanes ( Im Sure most of us are guilty of that)

-if possible. dont ride if it rains

-ride slowly. dont rush ( i guess its not very possible sometimes ya?)

-KEEP UR EYES PEELED!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cant emphasise this enough
