Got caught in the heavy rain this evening.

High beam blue LED was flicking on/off throughout the rain.

Seems like a short, anyone knows where to look into?

Check the headlight cover.. maybe the cap is loose and the connector to the bulb I'd loose..

Should I buy it with oem accessory or just the machine.....

Depends on how you wanna built it.. as OEM accessories are expensive unless you buy it with the bike..

But when debit and sell, it's of not good resale value

Looi's brought in a blue US model kitted with WorldCrosser accessories except the Akrapovic exhaust, foggies and rear tank. One of the bros is riding this.

The rest of us are WC wannabes Super Ténéré kitted with H&B, SW Motech, Touratech, Original Yamaha OEMs, Smoto blah blah blah slapped with Akrapovic, Arrow, LV, Two Brothers exos.... :D

anyone riding XT1200Z Super Ténéré? planning to upgrade to a touring bike. XT1200Z Super Ténéré is 1 of my 3 choices. thanks

Anyone riding XT1200Z?? Maybe it'll be easier to ask who isn't. Hehehehe!!! :p

Curious.... What's your other 2 choices apart from the SUPER Tenere? Are they SUPER choices or are they SUPER nice? Lol...

Personally, the only OEM accessories I think are good to have are: Wind Deflector, Headlight Protector and LED signal lights.

The panniers/topbox will be very subjective. People who don't want it, don't like the build quality, and people like to have it cos it is narrow and look good, plus same key for everything.

So, to decide to get accessories or not, best is to research on all the accessories available yet. Not too difficult, don't have that much choices.

Available locally only have these:

1) Hepco & Becker

2) Touratech

3) SW Motech

4) Altrider

5) Givi

A must-have for the S10..... Aftermarket boom boom exos. Stock one too restrictive with size of a bazooka & tip of a .22 caliber.

Next in line... Set of good engine guards a cushion for sleeping S10s.

The rest imo are subjective and dependent on ur riding routine. For offroaders (even occasional ones), invest in a good skidplate is impt. Then comes the rest of the guards and protectors.

I think the header change is alot more significant than exhaust.

I've tried: exhaust only, header+exhaust, header only.

The difference between header only n exhaust only is quite alot.

Of cos, full sys wil stil b the best.

Nice vid.... But this also confirmed that the WorldCrosser is nothing more than a dressed up standard S10 which is rather disappointing since the initial concept came with additional rear fuel tank and a killer '45degees slanted' Akra. In this context... Reckon plenty of standard S10s around are better equipped than the WC.

Personally I thought they could have made the WC a truly improved version by factory tuned the WC, changed the dial lights, and/or equip the WC with ABS on/off toggle or even cruise control to make the WC even more desirable. All the anticipation for the WC came to naught.

All these said... Time to ride my standard S10... Woohoo!!

Personally, i feel that BMW made the right decision to make the GSA a different bike than the GS. Bigger tank, spoke wheels, higher suspension.. No doubt the normal GS can be converted to a GSA by buying GSA parts. But I think BMW made a good decision to differentiate the 2 GS's for different type of riders.

While Yamaha made a good bike on the ST. I think I share Paikia's sentiments. They should make the ST(WC) a sligghtly different bike with better specs not just a bike with addons.
