Just bought a 1993 Super Four verion S as my 'winter bike'. It's very yellow, got a pin sized hole in the zorst, kinda crappy, but underneath all that crud I know she's a wicked streetfighter!

I've just spent half a day oiling, adjusting and tightening all the loose bits, sat back and realised that my "winter bike" is a thing of beauty!

She sits right, revs high and has a pocket rocket attitude.

I'm new to this forum and live in rainy, windy Dublin, far, far away from where my flying banana was born.

Does anyone know any sites where I can get bits and pieces to return my neglected beauty into its former glory?

It's funny, in the Philippines, Thailand, Japan and Russia, Super fours are loved, whereas in Ireland and England they are seen as 'workhorses' which I think is very unfair for such a lovely bike

Here's a picture I've found on a Russian Site. Same yellow and pipes but different engine cases and brakes. Pretty huh?

this engine look same as mine. Project big 1

bro, if im not wrong, exit 312C will allow you to make a (legal) u-turn back to singapore. Once you take the exit, just keep left until you are safely on the correct route back to sg.

btw, i must ask this; how fast did you go?:cheeky:

yes rite 312C ... but play corner very dangerous so watch it.

Bro, not to burst your bubble. But the first thing CASE would do is to mediate. Meaning bring both parties (you and bike shop owner) together and try to reach a common understanding over what is fair to both, although in this case, the bike shop was clearly trying to squeeze everything out of you. After that, I'm not really sure. Hopefully all goes well for you.

Aceofspades! Welcome to the Singapore biking community! Pretty glad that you love your new ride even though it's reachin' 15 years and counting! An Irishman with a love for bikes! Anyways, parts are pretty hard to get for such old bikes, but with the will, you'd be surprised. So you're repairing everything yourself?

Bro na3ri, if it's Nusajaya, then that's the Gelang Patah exit! I took it and had to make a U-Turn at the chevron markings. I didn't dare to venture further in, who knows where I might end up. And yeah, after the U-Turn, I saw the signboards "Singapura" and "Nusajaya", after which there is a long corner that you have to take.

I've got a nasty "clunk" sound from the steering head. Are the head bearings a common problem on Super Fours?

Cone steering problem is kinda common too. Usually some change annually. But it depends on the individual riding style. :)

How much would it cost? Dynojet will improve the performance, at the expense of your fuel consumption right?

WAH! Someone got new SIGGY ah.

btw. for the past few days, before i start my bike, there'll be a bit *as in 4 or 5 drops* of EO under my bike. Confirmed its my drop. EO leak is it? Must be the gasket or sumthg?

I'd rather get a Leo Vince than a Louis Vuitton.
