agree.. even with 150 rear u still find that fuel comsumption still a bit high.

best still 140, tested and proven. still can play corner

cant fit? mt fren using pilot power with 160 rear. does fit bro. but for safety wise, yah. its not a recommended factory size. i think it only affect the FC?

so bros, any comments on non vtec using 160 profile tyres?

I've used 160 before... The tire almost touches my chain guard n suspension. Thn notice some worn on the side of my tire. Might bcuz of hitting the chain guard.

To me like abit more stable but yes it feels heavy. Now changed back to 140:thumb: Btw, I'm riding PB1.

yes.. u right... i just change bt090 rear 150. the pick up and 2nd, 3rd gear is like need to drag a while then can 'feel' it's time to go 4th gear.. but good thing is when i go for high speed at gear 6 around 110km(might be low speed to some friend here.hee..) the stable is real good..

I'm having a PB1 and using that exhaust. Has a low "pepping" sound at idle and pretty quiet at cruise mode but on hard riding at red line...it does scream and has a hourse throaty sound. One thing I like abou this exhaust is that the whole pipe from header to trumpet end can shine like chrome..steel actually and hardly will rust. It's a real beauty when the curves of the four header get shine up by the late morning and early after sun..a sun glass id nrrded to look at it...heeee...x2!

Stupid Hurts!.:giddy:Speed doesn't kill, mistakes does :faint:

BEER!...it's cheaper than fuel now! DRINK!..DON'T RIDE!

About COE..I had my PB1 back on the road last Aug'2007 fo the next 10 yrs. Just couldn't give up the bike though I got a good offer!...its all Japs original and its a 1997 model...very much different from those of the earlier model (as of 1993 which was problematic)...guess it's sorta of a "refine" version of the "Project Tua_Kee"..never had problem with rectifier, CDI or anything from the engine no better how I trashed it..even use liquid nitro mixture in the fuel and of course metal conditional lubricant in my motor oil (for cars!...hee..x2!) and had been like taht that for the last six years. Pampered this babe so much that I gave it a new headlamp set, new paint job, new meter set, new cone bearing and a few other new new stuff...heh...x2!.couldn't get myself to get a new VTech III at that time because of China parts on it...so I heard (only the body chassis and engine comes Japanese).

Was considering the coming VTech 4...but ain't too kin about "PGM" and too much of electronic stuff on the bike. But must admmit that the stainless steel pipe makes this bike a touch base home run beauty!..alays love to see it glisten in the hot sun!..wohhh! :)

I use Castrol Semi-Syn bought in JB. Change about every 3000km.

I tried a lousy full-syn once, then decided to stick to the Castrol Semi-Syn after that. Cant afford the better brands of fully-syn, so I dunno if it really is better than the Castrol i'm using now.

But I must say, Castrol oil is good.

Aiyah!...talk about electronic thingy I very_the_scape one...why?...I've been an electronic engineer in the RASF for 16 years and dealing with RADAR and Comms equipment. Of course am refering to things computers too..meaning programming and all. for "PGM"..there is nothing much you can't do with 'modification' ot the carbs and stuff that link with it in function...unless, you have access to the "firmware" (simple term..software in hardware usually an EPROM) that is already programmed. Even if you do, all other protocols that function with it are also affected..like sensor and all. Aiyah...simply put lah..things silicon is much more ill affected by heat thru wear and tear than harware parts. Anything can go...and I doubt our norm mech out there can handle it except to change new electronic parts in modular form which is costly. The only advantage I see here is FC because the PGM would figure out how much fuel for what kind of riding style you do with.
