Which kopi session?..there was one just this Wendesday at AMK ave 10..think the SSR and AMKS4 was there including myself.

Not syre the word "effective" is correctly use here...but it's a not necessity. This is only "vicosity" matter. It does help in making your engine a little quieter..as it provides 'cushioning' between metals and enhance vicosity level.

 

Careful though as to the ratio for mixtures. Old bikes only...use half the can of STP to every 4 litres of 5W/30W or 10W/40W..don't use with 20W/50W.

Btw...believe you want the meter lights done. Pm me your contact..will do it tomorrow onwards thru Sunday . Same time...some 'education' on liquid engineering.

Haha... Yeah, wil b great meeting up although very hard for me to get a break from work. Btw AhPek, my bike juz now when changing gear ve problem.When moving, the moment i release clutch, the gear sound as if doesnt engage. After a loud TUCK sound it engages n then i can throttle as per normal. Is it a sign i need to change the clutch or sometin else?

I wont really know unless you can tell me how long your clutch has been already..your riding habits and have you adjusted your clutch cable (at the lower right bottom). What you indicated is one of the "tell tale" sign but could just be clutch cable adjustment solution.

hey bros!i skidded on ma right yest & sustained damages on ma Version S speedo.Its still working but the back chrome meter cover on the RPM side is loose now.

Even e face plate is loose.Any idea how much it wld cost to do up e RPM side alone??

Hey there... Can someone help me with some issues...

 

1) My reset knob for the distance at the speedometer is missing (along with the screw).. Anywhere to get just this?

 

2) One side of my fork has its oil seal busted, so, is it ok if i just change one side or change both? The other side looks stable...

 

3) My rear suspension is leaking now. Is it worth it to go for service (180 i heard); how long will it last then? or is it better to get an aftermarket one (what's the cheap yet reliable set?

 

4) Is it possible to fit on vtec footrest (the whole set) to verS?

 

5) My fc for my verS normally only abt 300km/l. Any idea how to get more? I nv disturb my carb so far... some say its because my rear tire is punctured often (coz poked by nail and i need to pump often), my suspensions are needing service etc: Really?...

In this case..adjustment need likely need at the bottom right hand side. You can tell from there if your clutch plate life span is also up. When you come for meter light enhancement...I'll mech it for you

See if Ever Success, Chong Aik or FJT has the spare...be innovative and subsitute it with something else like a hard rubber or semi-plastic tube and glue a small size collgate cap at the other end..temporary of course ..till you find one. Btw..how come its missing...stolen?

Change both..if one goes..sooner or later the other is going to go to and you gonna waste $$s on labour cost to do it again. Moreover, you oil vicosity is gonna be lobsided. Anyway be prepare to change to new oil for both when you do both also.

Where and who does the job is important. Let the right expert analyze your situation rather than telling them what to do. There may be more than looking at replacing the seal.

No one can tell you how long it can last as each individual usage is different. If you tong_pang babe hippo or elephant everyday...reliability of it is shorten.

KYB (Kayaba) set youback about $500.

Why would you want to do that?...what's wrong with the original ones?

There is an advance liquid additive..its not even a chemical but oil itself..once added..it reformulate your fuel for muc better combustion..thus smoother ride and better power response. PM me if you want.

Don't ever disturb the carbs unless you know you have to...like it use to say..nothing breaks, leave it alone.

Go get your tyre replace and suspensions done...garanty better fc otherwise I chop_chop and let you cook it in curry

Cost in $$$s is up to any mototiam as how they weave their parang_tor! I can guess that the screw tightening your outer cover to the white housing chassis mount is likely liao. Internally..the white housing right side mounting to your front black casing may also be affected..but definitely, the two screws out of four (two with supply wires) are affected too. So...in short and since the rpm is working..its just a screw and likely broken plastic problem..something you can DIY with the right mending cement/glue
