I just got my YSS at chong aik. They only sell, so I spent $10 to install at a bike shop.

I used to ride a CBR 400 many years ago. The end can has a big dent after Kenna knock by taxi. Send for "wrapping" with a layer of aluminum around it through the bike shop that sold me the bike. Came back like chrome (original was matt silver if i remembered correctly). I paid less than $100 for it. That was in 1998 though.

To detect Wheel bearing is by 2 ways,

 

1. Sound - Funny sound will come out from the wheel area. Try Lubricating the chains first to make sure its not the chains.

2. Feel - Wheel feel uneven. Try to pump your tyres first to make sure its not the tyres.

 

For showa shocks, you can try Teck Thye at braddel road. Find David. Cost around 240 and superb workmanship.

qn: when is a good time to tune the carbs on the ver s??

 

also i just realized yesterday that my headlights were not on when i rode my bike. the light/high beam button didnt help. so i tried to "turn off engine, turn on the key, play with the light switch, turn on engine and guess what, the light came back on. any of you experience this before and do you know what does this mean? battery or wiring ah? my headlights doesnt flicker like how if the battery is dying or issues with the coil/rectifier and hazards light are working fine or is it wiring issue?
