I went there about 2 months ago. They didn't have 110/140. I don't know what I was thinking changed to 110/150.

 

Any different after using 150?

How much did they charge you?

I paid 135 for the 140 rear tyre.

After changing my tyre at unique today, the mech told me my wheel bearing is faulty.

He let me feel the vibration of a stick from a machine that was spinning my wheel.

 

Do i really have to change my wheel bearing?

What are the effect of using a faulty one?

I try to explain in layman term.

Wheel bearing is to let the wheel spin smoothly.

Worn out bearing restrict the wheel spin well.

It will affect your handling when the bearing is not worn out.

 

It's a wear and tear.shock and water are the main cause.

I paid 250 for Dunlop arrowmax gt501. Not the best of tyres of Im honest, but provided fairly reasonably grip. I should have gone 120/150 or stuck with 110/140. Now the front eagerly dives into the corners. So have to control your lean angle.

I need to know if there is really a need to change before i change my bearing.

And i cannot fully trust what the mech says, so i came here to ask for advice.

i need to find out the symptoms and effect of worn out bearing before i am sure my bearing are worn out.

U realli must go very slow.....like 1st gear half clutch go over....then u take the pump...put ur both leg down and push ur leg...haha..it is like u lifting ur bike up like tat....then ur belly pan wun kanna oready:)

Has anyone here changed the valves on their bikes before? Im getting a taptaptap sound that increases with engine speed and suspect it's caused by one of the valves in the engine.

 

Would like to find out estimated cost of replacing the valves (if diagnosis is correct) before deciding if i should repair or scrap or trade-in coz the bike is only gonna last me until end 2015 (coe cannot renew anymore, i opted for 5yr renewal).
