ElectroMagnetic Field emission of motorbike is super HIGH! Bikers BEWARE!

I got the trifield meter below from U.S. in months ago.

http://www.maui.net/~emf/TriField.jpg

Just recently I use it to measure the EMF radiation of my suzuki 400cc bike out of fun as I've been using it at various workplace locations and cellphones only.

I thought the bike is old (1997) and should not be so electronic intensive and thus should show a low reading.

But to my surprise, it jumps to a freaking 100 milliGauss of EMF at idling,

and when throttling a little bit only, it immediately shoots up to way beyond the scale.

Tried covering the seat with few layers of aluminium foil is also useless.

From a youtube video it seems the norm should be around 400+ milliGauss at constant throttling.

Now some studies suggest that above 3milliGauss the EMF may have biological effects.

So when riding motorcycle, you're potentially exposed to 100 times of the recommended dose!

FYI, I measured the EMF of my motorola Droid handphone before.

For GSM (2G), the max is slightly more than 100milliGauss, whereas WCDMA(3G) its max is super low at lower than 3 milliGauss. For certain phones, 3G is not the default and you must manually enable it by yourself.

Check this website out: http://www.motorcyclecancer.com/

"Motorcycles consist of oscillating current electrical systems generating anywhere from 10,000 to 70,000 volts of electricity during operation. Many motorcycles have excessive ELF EMF producing electrical components located beneath the rider's seat away from the engine heat.

I have read up to 500 milliGauss (mG) of ELF EMF radiation above motorcycle seats penetrating the prostate and groin. In contrast, many doctors raise cancer concerns involving 3 to 5 mG of exposure from other sources.

I am sharing my story to generate worldwide urgent attention to this devastating discovery. I have met countless avid motorcycle riders diagnosed with similar forms of cancers and disorders. All of these riders had a type of ELF EMF radiation penetrating up from their motorcycle seats.

The prostate is of major concern. When riding a motorcycle the prostate is one of the closest delicate glands invaded by the radiation and could reveal initial compromise. However, considering metastasis, cancer can spread where it is then detected at the new location. For both men and women riders, the colon and neighboring organs are also of concern for health compromise.

One of the most profound effects of electromagnetic exposure on the body is a decrease in the production and role of melatonin. Melatonin is the body's natural hormone for fighting cancer growth and the gastrointestinal tract is responsible for synthesizing vast amounts of melatonin. FOR MILLIONS OF MOTORCYCLE RIDERS, ONE OF THE MAIN SOURCES OF THE BODY'S CANCER GROWTH INHIBITING HORMONE IS GETTING SHOWERED WITH ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD RADIATION! "

To create the awareness of tremendous EMF radiation exposure among motorcyclists, anyone who is interested to find out the EMF radiation of his own bike/car of all CCs pls PM me to make appointment then come down. I'll give u a totally free EMF radiation accessment for your bike/car vs handphone. See for yourself to believe.

My only advice now is, RIDE LESS IF YOU CAN!

Nice! Good to know. Now lets wait for a solution while we waste our lives by riding! Impotency is looming!

I was sure that the cancer is from air pollution. Looks like I could be wrong

In older bikes, the ideal location for placement of the rectifier is under the rider's seat. Worst still, older tech uses the shunt-type rectifier which can create a substantial amount of EMF, compared to the newer gen of MOSFETs.

All bikes need a rectifier, no matter how old. If your rectifier if not under the seat, or if your bike's relatively new, using MOSFET rectifiers, you should be fine. Otherwise, you could always switch to a MOSFET rectifier with a little DIY. It runs cooler too compared to shunt-types, btw.

Hmmm.... so with regards to the MOSFET Recrtifer, where could we obtain one and care to advise the cost?

Total misconception.

1, All combustion engine need to pass the environment EMC requirement, mainly for EU and US market (eg, EC and FCC mark) and they need to pass CISPR or similar test. Japan JASO is not mandatory but all maunfacturer will do their own test and will even more strigent then the standard requirement.

2. You can never compare a mobilephone magnetic radiation to one of a spark plug. If you've got a electrical field meter, a mobile phone will be much higher then the combustion engine. You are like measuring the temp of a cup of coffee and say that because the temp of it is much higher then a piece of plutonium, the cup of coffee is much more dangerous. Please get your facts right!!!

I don't have the facts on hand (eg. the CISPR no, can't remember if it is CISPR 22 or CISPR 13 for combustion or some other standard) and my EMC knowledge are all rusty but misinformation like this are not healthy at all. Please get your facts right or consult people who knows before posting.

ah the suzuki impulse.

no worries, no amount of emf will deter me from riding. i still love it

February 2011 - March 2012 = Phantom TA 200

March 2012 - August 2013 = Suzuki Impulse 400

Present = BMW (Bus, MRT, Walk)

Indeed. I don't care if I'm sitting on a Chernobyl reactor, it's too fun having a 110kph wheelchair :D

Still, good scientific reading. I'd like to make 'appointment' with TS to see :D

I'll bring one stock Phantom and one "Type R" and see which one is more dangerous :D

we are surrounde by this waves everyday..the cars/bilkes and all the mobiles..

i am not worrie about it...

if it is dangerous...we will see lots of zombies around with fried brains and nuts..

This is very interesting; I never thought of my bike as a potential cancer source!

Since I know nuts about EMF, its danger and how the bike can create it, I'd really appreciate if anyone knowledgeable in this field tell us more about it.

Lol @ezzyoiler

Technically I should be a zombie by now because I am nearing 16,000km and I only started 24/7 riding in April lol

Dear Lord...

So much EMF at the seat?

My poor poor balls!!

why? more emf maybe causes balls and sausage to grow bigger. more impressive and completes the overall package if u ride a sports bike lol~ the ladies sure love a guy with big balls and a big CC sportbike.
