After some addons to spruce up the bike.

Those who are on stock brake pads can try Vesrah RJL as an alternative. I swapped the stock one out for these and braking power and confidence has increased tremendously.

Wow, compared it to your previous picture. Sliders, rearsets, clutch cover, pressure plate and fluid reservoirs? That's a lot of bling!

"Dinie likes this post."

WHHHYYY leh? Anyway I like Japanese bikes, easy to get parts, easy to maintain (got one in-house mechanic at home) and nice to ride. I just feel that my time with Duke is too short.

had a hornet900 before. Good bike with lots of rizoma potential. Consider cb1000 r too..

My limitation is with height. I'm only 5'2". Even my CB400 had to shave the seat down. Thought about the 796 but it's too tall...

Go see sgbikemart. There's a 900ss there going for cheap that will probably suit you. From the pics bike is in great shape and knowing the ss range it's quite reliable, light and will hold value for years to come. Tight geometry also means it's likely to be more comfortable for smaller riders like yourself. Use the savings from your 696 sale for more bling..

Actually, I thought you should find all these information out first before you bought the bike, not after! But nevertheless, welcome to the family.

Most ducati-specific spare parts are obtained through minerva so pricing for parts should not be very much different. If you're not happy with parts costs you could approach minerva directly or order online.

Hello ducati owner, have been reading the post until i lost track. Is M400 still available in the market (brand new or used is fine)

Is it difficult to maintain a M400, read that the bike has good torque but get stress on engine at 100 - 120?

You must have really lost track because if you have indeed been reading posts in this thread you would know that the 400 is no longer in production and only available second hand. Maintenance is simple, fixing problems caused by lack of maintenance is not.

120 would be be barely comfortable for a stock 400,
