Your monsters seem quite "dirty". No offence given. I also face a similar issue with my M400. Does anyone know if it is possible to shine outer of the engine, fin cooler, exhaust manifold, basically those steel parts outside?

i agree jeff! its not in the cleanest of states! i've been wondering how i can clean it up... i guess it just takes a little time and patience? i've been holding out on a rebuild for some time, cant seemt o find the time... thats usually how i clean up engines in the past...when they've all been taken apart and on the table..:)

the steel should be easy enough, just SS cleaner and elbow grease should put some shine in them? :)

Thinking to get a s4r 2004 ver. Currently riding spec 1. Just want to ask, maintaining s4r is it more difficult than spec 1? Upkeep cost will it be a lot of difference?

Double check when is the bike registered. 2003 and earlier bikes are going to be phased out in 10 years time.

It does not entitled the NEA rebate. Cos registration is 2004. But I'm just concerning after purchaSe service. Read many reviews and feedbacks. Those more of outside Singapore where they can ownself fix bike in garage. For SG, we need mechanics.

Looking at a 1998 Monster 400. What are the things I should look out for when viewing the bike? Noticed that the price range for this model is quite elastic i.e. some are asking 13K while some are asking 8k
