I dont really know how it works. I noticed the cash card carpark gantry has this tall equipment that looks like a IU sensor to me. You have to see where is this gadget aiming at and position your bike accordinly. Sometimes its aimed lower right because more cars have their IU installed to the drivers side. Due the design of the bikes, we have IU on the left or centre of the handle bar.

 

Nevertheless my observation stands to be corrected. ^_^

 

Mine was installed on the right side... So shag.. everytime need go out carpark also sian liao... Keep guessing spots... zzz...

OO... Today i stopped behind.. further back and viola! I got through... dammed happy.

 

Today while riding, Come out of fliter lane and was on the left lane... toyota estima suddenly zoomed past me very very closely... (lane splitting car when right lane is clear of cars)... Freaked me out... so at next traffic light junction, stopped beside the car on the middle lane and looked inside... Its an OL gorging herself on pizza!!! I shaked my head and remind myself that shits happen... Further up, I was on the middle lane and suddenly the toyota estima chionged up beside me(I was in her blind spot), Then i saw the wheels coming quickly into my lane... I freaked out, wacked throttle, horned and salomed my way to get infront of her car... nearly missing the bumper... Cant ebrake because car behind tailing closely... then the joker proceed to cut across the right lane and cause cars behind to ebrake and horn like ****... she cause all this commotion just because she wants to get into the right turn lane infront... Seriously, How she pass her driving test...

 

I am glad that my riding lessons has paid off... equipped me with the survival skills i need... anyone encountered this before?

i rode behind this kup , then suddenly ,thud kana ciggie butt from the kup rider when he jus drop his ciggie butt,

rode beside him say wa lau , i behind u leh , u still drop your ciggie

Saw a gilera with pillion swinging when hanging lanes and a before he failed to check his blind spot and changed lane to an oncoming car, the driver horned him for warning. He later rode past and stated at the driver. Think he was unaware it was a warning beep and he had more to lose had the driver not warned him out of kindness. PIE towards Changi, biker came from Paya lebar exit.

I was unable to give way during the bend below CTE to AMK and a JB van was on my left. The biker overtook me and looked mad. Hope I didn't offend him. Saw him speeding off fast and overtaking everyone but his taillight was flickering badly too on the straight. Seems like wiring problem. Saw him again after the Toa payoh overhead bridge and he was being tailgates by another car on 2nd lane. He turned around, saw me in his open face helmet and sped off again, as though he was waiting for me. Weird.

Yesterday night riding home,

 

Was at traffic light, green, I start to ride.. slowly lah.. home nia..

 

right side is a blue taxi, left side is a yellow taxi, I was in the centre in lane 0.5.

 

I check mirror and see who is faster den allow that car to move..

So, I saw blue coming up, I change lane to yellow,

den blue slow down and yellow chasing up, den I change again,

yellow slow down, blue chase up,

I change one last time, yellow chase up again! Blue slow down again!!

 

WT*!! R they playing with me??!!

 

Piss off, one rev up to 10RPM, leaving the 2 taxi slowly up down up down..

*unknowingly I provoked a sports car on the extreme left lane and he chase up, ensuring that I never overtake him..

*anyway, he's not my target.. whahha!

 

Today while riding..

 

1) Turn right from minor road to main road, Main road cleared, move out, signal right, a taxi drive pass my right and jammed brake infront of me. WT*!! *we are only x CM apart..

2) Moving straight.. A car from extreme left lane(filtering into my road) (Total 4 lanes) chiong all the extreme right turn.. and caused me to brake a little bit more..

3) Moving straight at the road limit of 50km/h, since I'm not in a rush.. riding at 55km/h (already speeding hor) den 3 cars come behind.. one left, one right, one behind.. moving at est 70km/h. High beam me.. where to go sia? 3 lanes or taken!!

 

What a morning!

but of course, both girl or guy also has bad driving.

 

@edwinchoo15, you cannot change the behaviour of other drivers but what you can change is your riding. i can see from your postings that you ride quite alert. but you can improve that a notch by attending defensive riding, reading up on it. then you'll get so good at predicting such behaviour, you don't even need to slalom anymore. can mind read drivers before they make their move. so amazing it's like magic.

Double check for female drivers, triple check for senior citizens, quadruple check for old female drivers.

 

Keep close watch on BMWs and Audis because they tend to have hot blooded lousy drivers who love speeding in straights but can't handle corners

 

Last but not least, taxi drivers, I hate them all.

2 days ago, one a-hole male grey mitsubishi lancer tried to side sweep me off PIE>Changi on a clear road afternoon. I told myself he is either a gundu or a retard as he came close to side sweeping my 40L panniers. Just twisted the throttle and get on with it, while pray for him he will side sweep into a barrier or metal railing one day.

When i ride, i imagine that i am invisible to all drivers... on the road, I will always use my side vision to take note of the tyres of the cars beside me or infront of me... You riding FZ6, its a powerful bike... thats good, twist throttle can easily get out of shitty drivers hand... For me, I twist throttle twist until wan cry then got abit power nia... and i almost kena sideswiped by a honda stream... I was in my lane and this shitty a hole die die wan move into my lane... I horned like no tomorrow like that... cause extreme right lane also have lots of cars.... he was almost fully in the lane and i was forced onto the dotted line... I have to choice... (move to the right and hope cars behind can slow down fast enough... OR lane split).. I chose the latter..

 

If singapore have no government, I would surly let the dammed a hole taste my knuckles and his car shall taste my fist as well... Will make sure the a hole dont even dare to step close to bikers or karchiao them again... ZZZ!

Just now on the way home, on the right lane gonna turn at next junction and yet one Nissan Cefiro also on the right lane wanna overtake a Subaru Impreza WRX in the middle lane, did so abruptly and guess what? WRX ah beng jam accelerator, over take the Cefiro and jam his brake so hard that you can hear the tires scream. Cefiro also jam brake, Ah beng immediately jump out from his WRX and confront the Cefiro, screaming away. Cefiro uncle did what most hamqi driver will do. Sit inside car, dare not come out. Guess he picked on the wrong car.. I was laughing so badly that other car had to horn at me to turn on a green arrow.

You ride small bike no choice gotta bow down to such drivers.. Don't bother and challenge them. Actually you can go physical on him. Say like, spitting at him and such. Then if he whack you, you just say never spit at him. No evidence mah.. Such cases go magistrate court only mah. Then he can be charged with road rage where else, you get nothing for the spitting. A couple of days back while riding in Malaysia in the rain, my rear wheel spinned while going up a ramp at a 90 degree bend into a row of shop houses. Luckily never buang....

 

Today while riding saw a female driver yaking away on her HP.

On the way home, there was a jam at AMK ave 3 exit. Got an accident involving a Kup and a car. From the looks of it, I assume the car tried to do a right turn from the left most lane because the middle lane can go both straight or turn right, the driver must have thought the bike was going to turn and cut into the path of the bike to do an illegal right turn and got banged. There was a huge dent on the front door of the driver side and the bike was lying on the road in the middle of the juction.

 

Hope he/she is ok.

out of curiosity, if in that situation, we give a good kick to the door of the car, can they do anything about it? even if witnesses saw, it could be argued that we were doing it in self defense, especially so since we were already within the lane and it was the car that was eating into the bike's right-of-way space
