Aiya dude this one's pedestrian, not drivers....i don't think u see pedestrians provoke you alot rite?

If you often ride where alot of PRCs and Banglas, its more apparent, anywhere busy la. Cross on a red man, expecting YOU to slow down or stop when the mangkok should jolly well RUN because I usually let him hear the revs then horn when close enough. The pedestrian will always give this look that 'you wanna fight?' look.

Drivers dun need to say la, some of them think filtering is an invitation for a race -_-

They provoke me all the time... those bloody mangkok who jaywalk... and then jaywalk so slowly, and then jaywalk while I'm lanesplitting... ever knock them down before.

Well nice to see what happens on different circumstances other than waiting for pedestrians at Pocket junctions...suffice to say that if the green light is on for pedestrians, we give way to them...but if green light in ON for vehicles and red for pedestrians, they better get out of the way(unless they're senior citizen or handicapped)

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...

many people continue crossing slowly after the green man has turned red. testing our patience! but i notice most drivers/riders wont horn, just wait for them to finish crossing

Be patience, it safe your life. Regardless of red or green light you crash into pedestrian you are in big trouble.

You mean ride against the flow of traffic on the road? I do that at Coronation Plaza to get back to Coronation Road via pavement 'cos it's shorter way to go home without getting into bus lane and heavy traffic.

Today while riding... it flooded at Chinatown...

Just when I thought I could see the lane marking, it was safe. Then, I suddenly felt like I can't see my footpeg... Gosh! Is Singapore really going to sink? :(

Maybe Singapore is going to sink 'cos there's too many people on board this island.

Yup, but the prob is that ACCIDENTS may happen and when they do who to blame? =)

Blame everybody else. except ureself.

accidents takes 2 vehicles to happen. In some cases, mass orgy. Just need to know who made the bigger error in any accident.

today while riding to work, as it was quite slow traffic on the way to Jurong Island on the Ahmat Ibrahim Highway, i hope thats the right name, i was lane splitting in between the 1st and 2nd lane.

Approaching a small lorry on 2nd lane and a car on the 1st, i toot my horn as the lorry was abit closer to the line and i wanted him to know i am coming thru. Once i toot and rev up to go thru, that idiot purposely close the gap! I brake, bike wobble, mentioned alot of things in my ff that i should not have said and went behind the lorry.

Shake my head man...what an idiot. Later i passed him on the right and looked at him, Chinese fella, either local or malaysian. He didnt even notice me, either he really didnt hear my horn, or he bo chup. Or he is "playing" but whatever it is...that was dangerous man. Feel angry while behind me, but what to do...sigh..have to just let it go.

Just wanna know, you all faced this before? So its good to horn or not? Horn to warn maaahhh...not confront. I think will still horn to warn but sigh, i think reaction by drivers is subjective.

IDIOT LORRY DRIVER!!!

Ok calm already...hahaa

that is un-needed right? ppl is just sharing what happened to him while riding in "Today while riding..."

to forge, i have an thinking that for drivers to hear honk/s at them, their first reaction is "horn smlj!" therefore i will not horn unless they are making a move that i deem dangerous, to me or others.

if i sees that lorry is not leaving enough gap for a lanesplit, try other means, instead of endangering yourself by still trying to squeeze through...

i've seen cases whereby when a rider lanesplits, the vehicle on the side for some reasons or another shifted, and a slight knock into the bike... biker can control that knock, fine, but 90% of the case i saw the rider going down.. outcome depends on the luck already...

just my 2cents.. Peace to all, ride safe~

u might just need to noe.. he "cool story bro" everything.. so dun take it to heart...

and to add horning to warn is better than horning when that bugger is already in the lane.. i would rather spend my time and do effective braking than waste my time on the horn

personal preference.. No horn..

*horn only if accident prone and it's the driver's mistake.. Lane spit is not legalize nor is it illegal.. So it's a grey zone.. So just rev up.. If infront no space or less than half arm space.. it's a 50/50.. Unless u in a rush or behind people going to bang u if you don't go up and can't give way as well.. den Rev bah..

If you horn, u are trying to notify them but they got "stuned" and tot someone from another side horn him and go towards your side.. it's jia lat liaoz..
