An accident near Stevens Rd under a bridge..well a friend saw it and told me, cager abruptly popped out without signalling, a rider buang his bike to evade it, cager looked and ran away. This all happened during heavy rain.

i notice all the malls that are being built or demolished and reconstructed are no longer bike friendly ,

Agree, hate those IU carparks.. Sometimes cannot scan the IU..

 

Also today I would like to thank the kind soul who help me hide my keys which I left it attached to my box. I will pay more attention next time.. XD

today while riding. was lining up for a right turn to IMM along jurong town hall rd when i see a car just fiercely cut queue with just inches to spare and the car behind him had to slam brakes. when i move to the side, saw an indian (FT) behind the wheels playing with his hp and a big dent on his rear bumper.... really gives an hint of how he got that dent by the way he drives.

 

then on my way back to the city, along aye just before nus. was on first lane overtaking a stretch of cars when a comfort cab just give those 1/2 second signal and immediately turn out. the problem is i am parallel with the damn cab. have to do evade to extreme right of the lane + horn to siam. luckily the cab moves back into lane 2 after hearing the horn. what's so hard to turn the head to do a proper check

I also got a close one on the way to Planet a few days back. A lorry driven by an indian driver, started crawling out from a minor road to do a right turn. I can see it from far, but as I got nearer, it came out of the minor road then STOPPED in the middle of the road, I mean totally stopped perpendicularly, blocking both lanes at Ubi ave 3 outside Planet to wait for the traffic to clear on the other side of the road, it was the kind of distance where you can stop, but run the risk of skidding, (60km/hr, 1 bus lenght to stop distance) so rather than e-brake to a complete stop, I braked hard, down gear, swerve left and rode on the double yellow line to squeeze pass the lorry's bumper towards the stop line marking and just before I reached the stop line in the wrong direction I swerved right to go back onto the main road.

 

That was a close one.

i did

he's 2 vehicles ahead of me. after the red lights, he drove like a mad man, switching lanes whenever he sees a hole to slot. i waited till he stop at next traffic lights then lane split all the way to the front and clear from him

This morning, 2 incidents concerning cars that swerve into another lane without checking blindspot. TWICE. The first one I was tempted to give a finger to that old fcuk, the 2nd one a car horned at the mofo and did the job for me.

Good point:) if see other vehicles with dents especially rear bumper, best to avoid them. Doesnt matter who is behind the wheel.

At 5am earlier today. I Was driving my mum to work at cck. Jus after the thomson flyover, saw a bike in front with no tailight or whatsoever. Was in the left lane and he in the middle lane.

 

Upon reaching a bend, he was sleeping or noticed the curve late and he went straight into my lane! Lucky i noticed early, honked him and swerved him.

 

It was a malay guy riding a drz. Now tailight very expensive ar? To that rider, ur an idiot. If you are sleepy even riding on a thumper, jus stop riding, u r jus endangering ur life and endangering other drivers and riders NCD. Idiot!

Was going along this long curve from PIE to BKE, riding relaxed, road was quite busy. Along came a DRZ, I expect him to overtake me since I'm not filtering instead he pressured me, revving.

 

Looky2 someone wants to play, fine, I filtered, fast, around that bend all the way until it was a straight road then I relaxed again, waited for a good 2-3 seconds before I hear the DRZ again then, he then proceeded to overtake me closely and sped ahead till I can't see him anymore.

saw a bike leaking petrol all over the floor yesterday after coming back from work. the air is filled with strong smell of petrol. parked my bike far far away from that location:cheeky:

 

anyway, decide to inform the authority since it is a potential fire hazard. not sure which number to call so just went ahead with 995. after describing the situation and location to the operator, she asked me to call town council since it is in a carpark. i was like you guys are the one with the expertise and equipment to handle the situation so why should i call town council? sensing typical goverment agency "Tai Chi" skill at work.

 

called town council and my expectation prove to be correct. the operator told me they only have electrician and technician on stand-by so there is nothing they can do. i was a bit upset and told her 995 didn't care, town council can't do anything so we should just wait for accident to happen? in the end she say she will contact 999 for the situation.

 

don't bother to do anymore so just went back home for my much needed rest.

Now "these" kind of idiots i see alot on the road, usually i pay no attention, but sometimes when the mood strikes and i'm provoked i would, a while ago before filtering left from west coast heading towards clementi to the bridge, there's this young punk on a S4 revving and edging on wanting to play, guess he wanted to try his v-tec again my EFIs, so i did, dragged away from him and passed the 4-way junction. looking at my mirrors i no longer see his headlamps, felt sorry for draggin my bike, upon reaching my carpark, gave my bike a hug and apologized to it.

 

learnt my lesson, had a few probs after draggin my bike and finally got it fixed. next time no go for me..

on west coast hwy last night, was doing around 80kph, relaxing..

saw this pair of very bright lights on my left mirror.

 

next thing i knew, a prime mover rushed past me on the left at around 110-120kph.

i felt like i'm a piece of tissue paper, and my bike the plastic wrapper.

Sir I do not play drag races! I play corners and suicidal antics while filtering because they are more fun huhuhu but yeah I get what you mean, the last time I drag my bike the piston seized and almost killed me...twice... Lately I've been more relaxed at riding, I dunno why, maybe the bike no longer thrills me or I'm too lazy to make up for 2-3 mins earlier because the other party won't be as early as I am anyway.

 

I'm still tempted to ride like TT someday though , unfortunately I am not ready. Yet.

 

Wah please don't race me or anything la, the only reason I'd ride 'defensively' is when I notice when TP noticed me from a junction or when I'm late for work, then I'd go so fast and make sure he doesn't know where I went huhuhu. If from behind TP still can become stealth apek.
