to 08 bros....juz called HL this afternoon, ask them about the one seater...they say all 08 will get the one seater but must wait for the shipment... ask me to call 3rd week of february...enjoy!!!:cheeky: :cheeky:

HELP!

 

ytd rode my R606 out =X

 

from hougang to pasir ris all the way i maintain around 80-110km but the temperature seems to be very high ( 80/90c plus) at high way

 

once i stop at traffic light temperature will be around 100-110 den the fan will auto on.. when riding feel very hot.. issit normal ? or is there anyway to make it cooler? =.-

i think 80ish/90 is quite standard for most cl2 bikes, our r6es included, when riding around sg.

 

the fan will turn on at 101deg...

 

 

maybe u shld just try changing coolant

 

oh yah, thermal wrapping the exhaust headers will also decrease temp slightly ^^

riding a r6 killed sperm!!! LOL~~

 

meaning its very normal to have tat kinda temperature

 

change to wat kinda coolant better?

try removing the thermostat.....this piece is quite redundant for use in sg....its more for cold countries.

Eh chun, what ur experiencing is normal lahs. Just get use to it and dun ride with shorts.

 

Do you know why so hot or not? This bikes always telling the owner to go faster so will cool your hot balls. =P

Day time 80+ is already normal and at night if very cold in the wee hours , it should be like 70+. 101 will switch on the fans.

i have removed the thermostat on my bike. 2 yrs now, no prob.

one advice, the r6 on sg roads, dun ride too slow.....easy to heat up....and also, rev it up. gush of wind to radiator is very important.

 

my bike on sg road expressway 60 celcius...reach 59 before.....on track about 85.

i haven get licence dare not ride too fast =X

scare kena speed cam / police stop die liao ..

 

ytd max i only go around 120..

tp test date soon dare not fool around ....
