well, personally I think it's crap bike considering that they detuned it even further in terms of bhp. europe is selling it $1000 cheaper than the current FZ6 s2. But I'm still not swayed. N the graphics not that appealing. What happen to underseat exhaust.

 

Wonder yamaha can give the sexy back:cheeky:

will pillion get hot a not after some ride for fazer6s sport version cos exhaust pipe at the back leh. Den when 2009 fazer 6s come out and any difference in appearance a not ah?

so far my miss says not scorching hot....its warm in fact....09 FZ6 -S have orange colour...in terms of specifications, no change

I am always curious about having exhausts directly under the seats. Ever happen that your pillions accidentally put their hands on the exhausts?

 

Er... I pillioned on a Fazer 600 before and I never put my hands on the underseat exhausts accidentally... Perhaps it's because I'm a rider myself so I know better not to do that... :p

 

But then again, there are handles at the back for the pillion to hold so this shouldn't be an issue at all.

much considerations went through those yammies designer mind when they came out this baby. We can see the exhaust of FZ6 protruding but tat area is warm but not enough to scald pillion hand I believe.

Mostly I heard for models which comes with underseat exhaust would equip with heat shield or something

the last I checked AXA has the cheapest insurance for fz6 at $800+ for third party, fire and theft. For third party only it should be $400+. You can always call all the insurance companies up for a quotation. The numbers can all be goggled up.

P-plate should be an attitude to safety and riding. There's always more to learn.

see how throttle happy lah.. I have always been getting 22+km/L local riding leh. On tour cruising 120-140 average then 20km/L. Ur Strom i heard some people consumption can 25 wor. Inline 4 no fight :sian:

i can verify that Pplater's Fazer 600 can still hit 22km/l despite cruising at 140 km/h. Even if he really whack his bike at about 170-180km/h, his bike's fuel consumption still about 20 km/l!!

 

But when I whack my bike like his, my fuel consumption becomes only about 16km/l :giddy::giddy:

 

So, when we go for petrol stop... while I pump my fuel tank like crazy, he is just pumping a little niah... :sian: :sian:
