i haven got license and bike.. but i got an idea..

 

if all or most of the forumers donate me 10 dollars.. i will be able buy a bike and get a license.. Erm.. who wanna start the ball rolling? keke..

But to be a good rider, you have to change with your environment,and adjust yourself to its rhythm.

haiyo, bikes can wait, u can always buy bike after u finish studying, but once u quit school its going to be hard to go back again.

 

Or u can always find a sugar mummy while in school :cheeky:

thats a new way to buy a bike lol give up studies for bike? maybe u can go professional racing liao. can do as a career :)

my first bike, my parents paid for it.

because i was honest with them about taking up riding and i don't have the financial means to fully pay a bike. (i don't believe in taking loans for bikes, the interest rate is too high)

 

of course insurance, road tax, maintenance all covered by myself.

my 2B lessons was paid with my NS pay.

 

anyway, after that all my other bikes and cars are paid by myself.

similarly with my 2A,2 and 3 licenses.

sponsored by my parents...

my first bike sponsored by my mum...

 

for my first 4 years of riding....

petrol, insurance, repair and coe... of all my bikes..

my mum and dad sponsored...

 

yesh i am a spoilt brat...

i did mention that i wanna work to pay for it..

but my mum and dad said no...

 

i'm just very fortunate... :D

 

lol....in the same boat.2b-cl2,cl3-cl5,parents encouarge me to take and sponsor me all the way,the next day of pass tp,the bike was in the carpark,like tio surprise,cus i nv ask for bike also.Frm coupons to petrol to servicing A-Z,taken care of parents....:sian:

 

Lol....my parent quote "Now young,must enjoy and chill,when Older need to work,no time to enjoy or slack ard....",so they wld rather have me chilling in the hse rather than go out to work...:cheeky:

My first bike is a vespa,given by my fiance's father.Whereas for my 2nd bike S4 spec 3,my dad bought it as a present for furthering my studies. But i'm paying him back every single cent by doing odd jobs(washing dishes at void deck wedding). Just dont feel good as he use a small amount of his CPF for my bike..

how they know what type of bikes you like???

 

sometimes i do envy some of my colleagues/friends.

just passed class 3, got 525i, Z4, 350z, RX8, SLK, IS250 etc waiting for them already.

for me i bought my 1st "baby" with my hard earned sweaty money..lost friends due to lots n lots of OT..but then again, losing frens are nothing to owning ur own bike..:D so dun really mind them..:angel: but in the end bike kena tow by LTA as my "baby" was highlighted as a illegal n wanted "baby" all due to e previous owner..lost "her" completely..could be i got cursed by my frens??:cry:

yep they took away my bike..went to LTA at sin ming, and they showed all e summons, investigations pertaining to it..n e best thing is, the bike shop didn't even renewed my road tax and submit my insurance! not even e transfer of ownership thingy!! but i accepted it a blame to myself for getting so hype up after getting my 1st bike.. hey dat time was newbie, dun really noe e world of bikes legally/illegally.. well learnt my lesson e hard way..:thumb:

Actually it's not a bad thing if your parents pay for your lessons / bike / car. It shows that they dote on you. The most important thing is to be grateful to them and don't take them for granted. Of course, more power to you if you can refrain from showing off your shiny new ride.
