Hey guys, there is a 15 Dec Malacca/Genting via NSHW ride trip. Meeting place GP Esso. 7am - roll out. I'm joining this trip. Here's the link http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13

 

Our trip was more of a leisure site seeing one but this 15 Dec one is a highway ride all the way. It will be one that will probably test both your engine, concentration and butt power.

 

Early next year, we'll try to arrange a one day leisurely sight-seeing/makan trip along scenic routes when we get more of the sun.

We go through Kota tinggi... Never near the NS highway. The most enjoy part of the ride is the winding road. That is why we choose Mersing rather than Malacca (Which travel through NS highway) most of the time. No petrol kiosk after kota tinggi. Pump full tank at JB enough for you to reach Mersing. There is a pit stop with shelter, drinks and toilet abt an hour riding after kota tinggi, but sori i dun know how to tell you the actual location. We dun use GPS, because i travel amost every weekend previously to mersing to go tioman for scuba diving... cheers

 

do let me know if you guys riding up to mersing/tioman again.

 

will really like to enjoy the scenic routes you guys mentioned.

Hi, if I am not wrong, you just got your bike not long ago. It will be best if you can familiarise yourself with the bike first before venturing out overseas.

Do a full servicing and proper check by your mechanic before going up. Anyway, there are always tow service in malaysia to Sg. As mentioned to Toyota23. Not advisable for new riders.

Ok. noted. Give me a bit of time to work things out. Me settle the map issue on my GPS first. Roughly know where the location is, pass by it the other day during me and Ham ham iron butt ride.

 

Date is confirmed is all I can say for now. Might do another recce trip to confirm the route.
