hi Bro's let us make ourself clear from the airbox holes, kawasaki got a R&D team with expert and engineers sure they will think this aspect last time i drilled my airbox pickup is great but FC and carbon deposit on the valve is higher three months onetime need to go full servicing full tank can go below 200km,i coverback the holes there is a slighter diff in pickup FC 280 for full tank no valve jam for 6 months.stock condition KR sure can close meter without any modification whatever modification we doing is for oursatisfaction only

from what u say we can clearly see that there definitely is an effect from airbox mod.

secondly kawasaki team knows all this things but the country they sell the bike to has noise regulations which is why kawasaki did all these things to make it legal. thats also why motogp 2 stroke bike air box no snorkel no silencer and all and they seriously dun care about FC or servicing.

one more thing is now kawasaki introduced HSAS secondary air intake system works like drilled holes airbox but different concept browse through we can find out more ,BMC & KNN is not a airbox its airfilter with all side intake and filtering more cleaner air for the mixture example like one glass of water 80%air 10%ptrol 10%dust KNN and BMC can give maybe 90% air 10%petrol without the 10%dust that looks more logical what you people think of it

what maximum tyre size can we use for rear?current 120/70 can go bigger than that i see SP more bigger than our tyre

standard is 100/80, for me i use 110/70 for more stable ride n better cornering. 120/70 i think over size, make wheel heavier n slow pick up..

bro you talking about the original meter? usually i travel around 110 to 120 on bke. den after kje there got one speed cam, after that then got faster. 110 to 120km. should be ok hor coz i see the road limit 90. plus minus our meter difference and the road limit...

i used 110 and 120 previously for rear, 120 even more stable, dun feel tat it slows pick up tat time.

I seen 130 before, tat one is oversized.

hmmm.. u have to get another KR rider with you and see your speedo with his.. because I heard some speedo diff really huge..

By default.. 100km/h on our speedo = 90km/h digitally.. that means 110~120 = 100~105km/h = No excuse if got caught.. Speeding beyond 10~20km/h..

i use 120/70 BT90 stable but the rpm not right, something weird and a humming sound appears when high speed, suspect the wheel running ratio and chain sprocket ratio need to be calculated because main sprocket one round and the wheel rotation got some relationship need to compensate something .,any experts on this?:dot: or same experience as mine ?

what u mean by not right. the first number is the width of the tyre and the second is the height in percentage so stock krr tyre is 100 which is the width of the tire. and the width is 100 * 80% = 80. so the size is 100 for width and 80 for height.U put 120 80 means.Width is 120 n height is 120 * 80% = 96.

by this we can see that since the height is more your tyre circumference is more. so each rotation of your tyre u cover more distance than the stock tyres. so top speed will be higher but then the added weight will make it slower for you to reach that new higher top speed.

eh. i just put back my bottom fairing. everytime go thru hump w pillion, will scrap it even if i go damm super slow. normal or my rear suspension spoil alr?

did you down your fork, its common if u down fork. if the fork standard then it mean your rear suspension dying ready. time for a new one.

Actually now i trying 14-40 spocket with 80/120 rear tyre, i just can say, pickup still okay until 120kmh, and pillion will more comfortable with less vibration..good for long journey, this what i feel..

my FC still maintain the same, 300km/tank without reserve.

i can say that you sprocket is more of a pick up sprocket but since your tyre is bigger it actually offset FC so ur FC same.

also the top speed you can go would be 205.3 if u drag till 12000 on every gear.

i want to change to 120 60 even more stable.

almost everyday raining scared skid.

That's a very good fuel efficiency, mine only like 20km/l. :(

And I just took over this KR of mine, so I don't know anything about it so far.
