If I were you I'll stop riding untill the end of probation. How did you know that you kena 12 pts alr? Usually letter takes at least 1 week...

Ok here's the situation,

I was stopping at Lavender St/ Bendemeer Rd junction. It was red light, my bike was right at the last corner of the last lane. Going to make my left turn to Ahboi shop.

 

I was waiting for the traffic light to turn green but when I saw all the traffic lights turn red, i was ready to go. THEN! A stupid horn from dunno where make me jerk and thus i proceed with my left turn. (I SWEAR THERES A HORN SOMEWHERE U CAN ASK FROM THE TP CAMERAS!)

 

While doing the turn I saw the opposite traffic go. After Completing I realized that I am the only vehicle!!!

 

Then I thought that its a 'left turn on red' traffic light plus theres a HUGE triangle divider at the centre which prevent me from colliding with the cars turning right from the opposite direction.

 

The first horn that jerk me was followed by TONS of other horns which made me turn back after the turn. Then i realized that i just beat a red light.

 

I didnt notice any flash though. And i went back there right afterwards to see any cameras. I didnt see any. BUT!!! WHEN I GOOGLE MAP it I SAW 2 FREAKING CAMERAS! holy!

 

Anyone please help! Im writing this from my work and planning to go there again to check whether there are cameras there anot. Btw I'll be damn sad if i am GANTONG as i was just about to join this group and ask about KRRs...... ;(

if u keena by red light camera u sure can see flash. its bloody bright sia. i got see other kenna before and i was like why suddenly got lightning in the day sia. but the 2 cameras u saw is junction box camera issit??? cause red light camera is only one shape. 2 tall grey poles on their on. both got box on top one big the other slightly smaller. one is camera and the other is sensor or flash. forgot.

yeah...its 2 box with 1 slightly smaller.

And after going back there yesterday, i can further confirm that the camera is there.

 

Sigh, maybe I just did'nt notice the flash coz too kanchiong or maybe the flash box there faulty or maybe IM JUST PLAIN LUCKY! (coz the camera wont shoot non-speeding vehicle or thought im a bicycle).

But if i do get the letter, guess I'll just stay at home and wont ride, better than got revoked as mentioned by BUGSY_.

 

But if I wont, (if god willing, amen) then I need to ask ALOT of question from u krr pros.

and are you on the extreme left? If your speed is below 10km/h, camera would not go off.. because someone might be try to stop slightly beyond the line.. BUT.. I can't guarantee it.. Just remember one thing.. Dun get any more points for the next 1 month.. If no letter.. means u are safe..

Usually bike hard to get caugh because we light the sensor may not detect us. Some more slow speed so luck seems like on ur side. See how loh. Check to website 2 days later ah see got tio

My Gearbox Got sound already, My Mech Told me that my 6th gear got problem, i think gone case soon, do you guy know where to get a 6th gear, becoz i dont want to spent too much for a brand new set of gearbox...

Ive been checking my DIPS & summons at https://www.psi.gov.sg/ every few hours since Tuesday night. So far nothing. But I keep thinking too much until I have the mindset that maybe the officer on the net spot me logging in too frequently which leads to suspicion so they started looking through every SINGLE CAMERA IN SINGAPORE FOR ME! HOLY!!!!

the expensive part is not the gear itself.. it's the workmanship.. Btw, you still can use despite gear damage as u can use at least 1~2 years more.. until the gear cannot be engage anymore..

1 time per day enough liaoz lah.. Maybe wun tio but if you log in so much.. they check the NORMAL traffic cam den you tio lor.. haha.. So DUN CHECK liaoz lah! aiyo.. Still have 0 point if suay suay tio.. (can ride)

appeal. if got valid reasons. most probably can pass. say to avoid accident. and its heavy traffic. i'm sure you have more creativity than me.

can ride with 0 points too. most probably is get suspended first and not revoke.

Maybe there is hope for appeal if i do get caught One thing for sure I didnt beat a red traffic light through speeding as what most offenders do. I was just alerted by a horn that made me taught I can go.

 

Btw, today is the the 4th day and still nothing on the net nor my mailbox. Still praying though. But I got something instead, ERP FINES! -.-

 

One final question, after reading a lot from the net regarding the camera, is it built just to catch vehicles beating the amber/red light and inching out too far till it block the pedestrian line?

 

P.S.I know how to open the front seat already. ty
