Regarding the lubing of chain, I just lube 1 area then push the bike away 3 small steps then lube the next area. Doing this until I can see that the chain isn't dry.

I using the creamy tech chain lube bought @ LAB 5bucks

it make my chain look yellowlish and spocket white . machim ice cream

ani 1 can recommand me better chain lube?

Better not use WD40 if yours are O-rings. It kills the rubber in them.

Mine is just normal stock chain, so far only tightened twice because I never lube regularly initially. Been 4 months since I last tightened, regular lubing helps. :thumb:

wat lubricant do u suggest and how much? juz want a normal one will do. i'm using my bike juz to bring mi to and from work.

how u clean your chain? take out the whole chain?? my spoket and chain bloody dirty... black and got some deposits...

btw i cant seems to adjust my chain properly... not sure its too tight or too loose....

always got sound one... can anyone guide me?

the peeps on this thread recommend kerosene. use a cloth, apply kerosene and wipe the chain.

as for the chain, if the chain is loose and by more than 2 inch, bring to a mech and tighten is. For DIY, i'm not very sure.

You need a 500cc 2-stroke. :D

You bet, but my wallet doesn't agree with the petrol consumption. Max 250cc... a very highly tuned 250cc can prove to be a handful already.

You might live to regret this one day.... especially since the 150s don't produce as much power as the 250.

BTW Are you the same Ah Kiat that frequents Lor 9, Geylang?

how much would a double bubble shield for krr cost? and get from where?

You mean the one that's common on alot of KRRs? If it is, then it's ~$10 at LAB.

I have been considering between these 2 bikes for quite a while before deciding on the Kawasaki. Kawasaki has cheaper parts but Honda has more aftermarket options if you're into up-tuning the little bugger a little more. Performance & handling wise, there's little difference between them but it's more of a matter, who does the bike and what has been done.

I've always loved the powerband stomp a Kawasaki bike gives you as Honda's power delivery tends to be a little too linear & docile for me to love (Darn... my bike is tuned for linear power delivery now! So I'm really shooting off my own foot now!)

Complaints? Kawasaki's seat is too damn hard and the SP thread more happening than the KRR thread in SBF.
