Send your bike for a carb wash, back at your shop they shd do it for free, since its newly from em.

After the wash, thy shd tune / set it to be just fine.

Could be ur brake hose or clutch cable rubbung the fender or the hose metal guide. Spary some oil or WD40 on the contact part of these and see how.

hello there..

I bought a 2nd hand spec3 and Im experiencing something like a vibrating sound "trrrrrr" coming from the engine area when I open my throttle to activate the VTec at RPM 7-8.

I can feel power comes in and the sound of the exhaust became louder.

Especially when I dragged my 4th gear to pick up to 5th gear.. I can hear the "trrrrrr"....

Is the VTec valve faulty?

Hope to hear ur comments!

hi bros,

i just got a spec 3. I realise that at high speed, my bike vibration quite hard to the extend when i press my front brake, the brake lever is vibrating. also, wen i press the front brake if i brake late, it produce a sound similar to a bicycle brakes that are worn out.last thing, wen i free hand, the bike move sideways to the right. are these normal? btw which shop in the east should i go to change engine oil and spark plug plus wash carburator? sorry for the long post.. noob here.. :D

vibration issue = steering cone

brake issue = disc/ pad

I hear a scraping noise when I free wheel, I can't put my finger on where it comes from, its not the brake pads nor the chain. Any ideas? And where to do good grounding?

Hi all. Just have some enquires to make with the more senior people here. Is it normal for the fan to on after lets say about 10 minutes or so in moderate traffic on normal roads not on highway. And also i dont know if its a problem or not but after turning the ignition on, the light for the radiator does not light up where as everything else does. Would that be considered so called a sign to any problems related to the radiator. Currently riding a spec 3 and i got the bike about a month ago and so i'm quite unsure about some stuff. Would appreciate any advice given. Thanks in advance!

Have u check ur brake pads?..could be the pad reaching its wera and tear point which normally has a 'marker' that tuches ur brake disc as a warning that it's worn.
