Ahpek, I last top up my coolant reserve abt 1 and half weeks ago. Ytd see the level below the low marking. Any idea why suddenly it started drinking my coolant? I tried finding for leaks cant find. The coolant tank also brownish again.

 

Think its time to come to you for coolant wash? :p

Hi bros, newbie here need some guidance. Every time I start my bike, the RPM barely hit 1. When I let it on for awhile without throttling, the engine dies off. The air coming out from my exhaust is also weak. I have tried to wash and tune my carburettor but the problem is still there. Please advice me. Can recommend me a good mechanic too? Thank you so much =)

When I feel sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story. Hehe :thumb:

Maybe can increase idling??

hey s4 bros, i dont know if it is abnormal, i tried lettin go of my handlebar slightly when i crusing on a long road, not too fast also, about 60km/hr, the whole fork and handlebar vibrate tremendously, i hav a fork brace grabbin my fork btw.

anyone knows what are the causes? low tyre pressure?

Adjust ur caburettor idling speed. the adjusting lever is just below ur caburettor.

this happens to me too, i change my coolant to engince ice and the rpm drops below 1.

steering cone or front wheel bearing . that time i was riding above speed limit my handle bar shaking left and right even i was holding it . after changing wheel bearing no more problem .

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Hi bros

LOng time never chat with u guys. I'm in need of some help.

Got involve in an accident 2 days ago. Looking for some parts.

Preferably 2nd hand.

 

Left side foot rest(whole assembly)

Left side lever(clutch)

Crashbar or slider

Balancer

 

Btw these r for Spec 3.

Anyone with info on someone or workshops selling these kindly pm me.

I'm still at hm recovering. So can't go 'shopping' yet.

Any help is sincerely greatly appreciated.

lol this is a weird question but, i dont know what version of CB400 im riding, it has 98 reg date, PB1 stainless steel headers, a power cut @ 180, version S rear fairing, and mid block cooling fins, also it uses black plug cables. also non trellis type pillion foot rest hangers.

 

any help?

If you are referring to S4Vtec bike..looks like a DIY "Ram Air" wanna be intake. Looks like the hose (looks like a washing machine or vaccum cleaner piece..LOL! Anyway..no use lah..even you blast air in with a air pump, the air setting to ur carbs are still the same and the air box can only hold the volume of air as its designated size.

hahaha thks ah pek for verification.. anyway ah pek, when my bike is in netrual and running, when i press my brake, the neutral seems to be dimmed and when released the light go back normal, but when i hold and rev my throttle, the problem does not come in, voltage of battery when not on at all is 12.8v. seems to be ok with me. I use a multimeter to check as my previous voltmeter spoilt. haha.. any idea?

Its all very basic electrical.......when my bike is in netrual and running, when i press my brake, the neutral seems to be dimmed

and when released the light go back normal,

>>bekuz there is no electrical load in the circuit path

 

but when i hold and rev my throttle, the problem does not come in,

>>bekuz your raise in rpm is increasing the charging rate from the magneto coil (alternator..same as a "generator") to the electrical load circuit and charging the battery
