qn: when is a good time to tune the carbs on the ver s?? :)

 

also i just realized yesterday that my headlights were not on when i rode my bike. the light/high beam button didnt help. so i tried to "turn off engine, turn on the key, play with the light switch, turn on engine and guess what, the light came back on. any of you experience this before and do you know what does this mean? battery or wiring ah? my headlights doesnt flicker like how if the battery is dying or issues with the coil/rectifier and hazards light are working fine :) or is it wiring issue?

 

It's probably wiring issues..

Hi guys.. Im gonna service n tune my carbs dis tues.. Any bike shop to recommend arnd ubi or tamp dat service n tune carbs very well.. Thot of tryin at planet motors.. Any recomendation guys?.

 

Pek, behind tampines SAFRA got one shop.. Eddie recommend me one.. Btw, it's best to change the insides of your carbs too.

When u travel on even road surface, you feel that your bike is like moving on potholes and uneven surfaces liddat.

Hi folks, been riding PB1 for quite awhile and i think its time to change the chains and sprocket set. Do any of you folks know how much, where to do it (prefer in the west) and which is best? Also do any of you have Ah Pek HP number? Lost it lah...need to do EO change with him soon. Thanks in advance....Cheers o,O

Haiya bro.. I juz did juz nw at planet motor.. Damage $80 for juz washing e carb.. Bt after washing he straight away fix n say its ready.. I ask em nvr tune e carb 1st?, he say no nid.. He say if bring down e carb n service no need tune oredi, if nvr bring down den need to tune.. Isit true bro?.. Im worry my carb nw nt tune properly coz i remember last tym when i went to bike shop to tune carb bike shop use some device to synchronise all e 4 carb lyk dat..

I did mine at HKL for $100. They did use a device to balance the carbs and that took quite a while. Maybe you should check with them again?

Yah, they dun even balance my carb.. Any shop arnd e east does carb balancing gd?, any shop to recomend bro?.. N roughly arnd hw much?..

bro i try and go to power wheel motor maybe u can ask rider saje wat i pm him

pek88 after they fix back but never retune, is there any problem with the bike or f/c ? if no problem you should not be wasting money to retune .

 

With e fc i hvnt notice yet.. Bt will my bike hv any problem if e tunein isnt right?.. As in e air n fuel intake runs n e 4 carbs does nt synchronise den will dat cause my bike to hv problem mayb nt nw bt slowly?..

Its called power wheel, it cost $70, behind tampines safra or ite tampines

I went there about 2 months ago. They didn't have 110/140. I don't know what I was thinking changed to 110/150. :faint:

i was there 2 week ago for wheel balancing.more than 10 set avaliable.
