Dun want to argue anymore...Just take a look where he parked his bike(Red color shown in e pic...)... If he park a little bit front...I definitely will pay him...BTW...my leftside box got scratch also...

He also against to road and illegal parking double yellow line. But tats not my point...my point is if he park properly, like a little bit front or close to kerb, I have keen sense of responsibility. Unfortunately, he was not.

nope, innocent party premium won't get affected after case is closed.

Procedure just take pics, witness, evidence during the incident and go to any idac within 24 hours to submit it. Aftermath, bring the paperwork to your desire bike-shop and they will help you settle everything. claim, lawyer, insurance etc.

My pal has a STX1300 and I too ride it at times... It's not the bike but the Rider...

Moving vehicle knock down stationary vehicle, definitely my fault. But If he parked his bike properly, like little bit front not close to junction, I won't knock down his bike. He dun think for other bikers, expressly touring bike with sidebox. It's nothing abt 30 bucks. 30 bucks can do what?! Only Half tank petrol for STX. So I rather pay my insur increase than pay him 30 bucks. That's my point.

 

BTW, his bike fall on my sidebox den to floor, only right side engine gaurd got some scratches, not serious. Others all ok.

 

Anyway, case closed, pls dun jam this thread. Many thanks.

Do u remember after I knocked down your bike, my bike can not start, battery was flat due to more than one month I haven't start my STX.

 

Right now u got your claim and I am decided to selling bike before next year renew insur. Happy ending!

If you ride properly, you won't hit his bike.

 

And $30 is just a token sum for him. If he repaired his bike, he will have to top up even more. Now that he claim your insurance, he can do up the bike for free. If you really think he is partly wrong and wants him to pay part of the repair. You should gave him the $30.
