Knn this morning a bangla driving a lorry swept into my lane and almost bang me, i jam brake to slow down drastically,and same time the merc behind me hone the bugger or maybe was hone was for me! Then the lorry swing back into its lane. knn over populated rojak road users. Really need rocket launchers man.

Don't know if you guys heard of the hit and run case earlier this morning on PIE towards Tuas after Toh Guan exit. The rider got away with some injuries but the young female pillion died in hospital hours later. Driver? Ran. Does this driver deserve to rot in hell? Yes. Be careful out there guys, once again, we have more and more road menace these days.

was riding to work last nite at KPE via ECP. i was travelling arnd 80++km/h on the first lane and then there was this honda civic following so close to me that i cud see his bloody dog face in my DRZ stock mirror.so i filter to the left and thinking that he wud speed up and go but he followed me changed lane also...alamak i tell u guys in my heart i was really like just wanna stop aside open up his car door and slap him so hard like i never slap b4 sia...while exiting kpe tunnel i sped up to take the corner guess what he was following me too wat if i skid thats the end of me sia....walao eh brudder im just a harmless rider sia its not like im tryna race with u or wat.use ur brain la. imagine its ur father or son riding that bike wud u do the same? u ASS...hahaha sorry for the vulgarities cant take it anymore ar...

 

Don't understand why people have a 'thing' against bikes and riders minding their own business and even giving way to others like in this case.

 

This sort of needless aggression on the part of the tailgater actually contributes to dangerous riding habits as it fosters a mentality that ride faster = no chance of any confrontation.

 

Its not a politically correct thought, safety riding wise, but its somehow true.

my way to lunch, uncontrolled T-junction... a nissan latio moving out from minor road joining the main road. I bet the Audi from the other direction saw the latio coming, yet didn't slow down... was thinking what's in his mind then.

 

another vehicle (*same road), wanna move in from main road to minor road... the vehicle edge in yellow box hence block the vehicle way. Sadly he has no vision of vehicle coming from other lane. Its dangerous for him to move too, kena horn numerous time. (*can't blame the vehicle far behind since they have no idea what's going on in front)

i noticed his van has multiple dents, so maybe he was out trying to "confront ppl for a living".

haha, i already given up hope on the drivers, show any signs is useless.

Well, I was at a filter lane yesterday, this nissan sunny came and stop beside me on a filter lane! I moved up and he still came and stop beside me. Then I signaled right as soon as i exited the filter lane, he straight jump to right lane after filter lane without signalling almost hit me from behind. !@#$%. Insane people. Bike means can share lane meh? Means I always lane splitting so can go beside me meh?

i occupy middle-side of the lane, so that there's no space for cars to squeeze beside me. if i take the edge of the lane, cars see it as an invitation for them to share lane.

i met a crazy volkswagen jetta driver while on ECP towards marine parade after tanjong katong exit. i was in the middle of lane 3 following behind a van when a car zoom past me very closely and cut infront of the van. i changed to lane 2 and saw the driver changed to lane 4 trying to avoid the slow moving vehicles but got stuck behind a vehicle. the driver couldnt changed to lane 3 as it was block by another vehicle.

 

i changed back to lane 3 to prepare to exit at marine parade. another biker was in the middle of lane 4 and i was in the middle of lane 3 when suddenly that very same car zoom past in between us and exited at marine parade. scared the hell outta me when my bike shook a little! was thinking where the hell did the car appear from. saw the driver when he stopped at the traffic, probably in his mid 30s. was thinking that he totally had no regards for bikers life

Today while not riding, only go to warm up bike, I found that my bike cover was stolen again!!!

 

So bought another cover and punched a hole and cable tied it to the bike.

Today I broke my previous speed record. Spit at car for driving dangerously at the next traffic light. Chased after bigger bikes. Whistle at girl while on bike. Normal la.

I find that riding at 80km/h - 90km/h on a normal day E-way is da*n dangerous, I was having a relax ride about 90km/h on 2nd lane and will always filter to 3rd lane when there is a chance. But while on 2nd lane, cars are overtaking on 2nd lane to overtake road hoggers and I don't feel safe to ride at 90km/h.. da*n hoggers..

 

But to go at 100km/h and above is also damn mind tiring, always looking for overhead cams and TPs at the shoulder lane.. Ever seen "Live" after passing the TP, he quickly keep his equipment and sprint to stop a Maserati..

I hate it when drivers disrespect motorists. I was on the way back at commonwealth and stopped in at a cross junction next to a Grandis at a traffic light. I was in the bus lane, the Grandis saw me and edge forward. The side of the car was actually very close to me.

 

Uncomfortable with the proximity of the car, I moved forward a little, and he edged forward again, this time so close that his side fender was actually just few CM next to my fairing !

 

I stared at him and he pretended not to see me. The light turned green and he sped off. I was damn fed up, I am in my own lane, if I also sped off, he would knock right into me.

 

I normally don't attempt to challenge cars cause its stupid and I would be the ultimate loser, but I couldn't take it and sped off after him. He saw me beside him and attempted to increase his speed, but he couldn't outrun my bike....

 

I then passed right in front of him and he knows I am pissed already, then he attempted to change lane, I also change lane together. Then I braked a long distance of the traffic light and he kept his distance. Honestly I still feel stupid and angry from the incident, even to the point I want to follow his car and do something to it.

 

Just a headsup to all bikers, don't do what I do, because we are always at the losing end. Ride safe, ride with proper gear, and keep your temper while riding.

 

I disagree with one of the bros saying being angry makes u more agile or a better rider, it makes u more reckless and before you know it, you lose control of your bike.

 

At the arcade we play a game with 1 token, when you crash, you can still get up and the most put in another token.

 

On the road, you too have only 1 token, but when you fall, sometimes thats might the one and only token you will ever have.

I had the same treatment again, in my lane, this driver keep coming beside me, twice at the traffic lights even though I was in the middle of the lane. Despite my stares, the worse thing happen when it was a one way lane, he came and drive beside me while crossing the center single white line. What the hell is wrong with these people? Driving in the middle of the lane doesn't help sometimes. Just held myself from giving him the finger and start road raging.

Ever had a time in which a driver got you so pissed you wanted to just stop and smack the bugger? I wish I could say I am unlucky, but its the irresponsible and negligence of the driver and not mine. For those that travel at Lornie road. Please be careful.

 

There are only 3 lanes on Lornie road itself and there is a U-turn in the middle of the long stretch of Lornie. This morning a van had wanted to U-turn. From about 150 meters away I could see him at the U-turn, at about 100 meters I see him reversing his vehicle which is illegal. You would expect that he would see a incoming vehicle coming towards him before attempting something to come out.

 

At 50 meters he had totally come out from the U-turn and I was so shock !! I didn't even have time to brake and narrowly missed his rear while on the left I had no idea whether the car in the middle lane would let me go.

 

I was so pissed that I slowed down, and all basically I gave him the finger. I don't normally show ppl the finger but this was totally uncalled for. Oblivious to the rest of the traffic behind, all the rest of the cars zoomed past. The van then switch lanes and slowed down in which I think if he was near me, I would really whack his incompetent donkey head.

 

Damn I was so close to be superman this morning, I don't think we should endure this kind of trash from drivers like this.

 

We choose to ride because we enjoy riding, cost or whatever reason, not to get bullied and swallow our anger just because other ppl abuse the roads.

 

Anyone thought of rallying other bikers for some feedback or positive action? I have not read the rest of the 300 over pages, but I am sure there are many incidents of other bikers who not only suffer from idiotic drivers, but clueless ones as well.

 

Although we are well aware of the risks for riding, that doesn't necessary mean we have to endure of ideals that riders are like "pests" on the road.

I know what you mean, more examples of ppl who think that they are better and disrespect bikers. You remember when we learn our 2B, in BBDC we travel in like a formation in a group. Although we are only 1 bike. But sometimes I would get the better advantage of "blocking" the driver from doing something within the lane.

 

Also I can honestly say, even if we keep center lane, unless we are on the expressway, everyone would just cut infront and things like that. Staying in the middle lane is never quite ideal in the case we are always at a disadvantage when ppl e-brake, now and then we are not that reactive and could result in head on collision.

 

I ride a sports bike, so e-braking is a pain due to the position.
