today, while stopped at a junction next to a kupkia, with the rider and his chick. rider looked at my bike, and my numerous stickers (used to cover scratches cuz i dropped my bike lotsa times)

 

and the conversation between them:

 

rider: wah lan eh you see or not, P-plater wanna ride such a big bike

chick: is it? i thought is not small bike leh, it looks quite big mah..

rider: P-plate behind so big cannot see meh? aiyah, act only la

chick: oh, chey. but the bike really look big leh

rider: aiyah, look big only la, no use one

 

green light, and that kup chiong away..

 

i was surprised myself; by not being offended by their little conversation. kinda like: "i dunno what to say!" *and starts stomping my feet*

haha, that made my Friday afternoon!

its been long i've never posted here. I used to like chasing other bikes on the road, just for thrill and excitement. At one point I chased a KR on a very narrow lane even though I know I can't even touch him. But I realised its just risky fun and I'm afraid, someday I'll be chasing after my angels. I like riding aimlessly or at times just releasing some stress. At times I just ride then, when I see a biker next to me or riding along I just try to match his speed and ride side by side. Its fun although we didn't know each other.

 

But one thing concerns me is I'm riding stock and my friends been advising me how my pick up is usually fast for a stock bike. I can't help it but I'm light weight and a wee twist on the throttle easily push me forward. I usually try to not be hazardous but I just can't help cause everytime, I'm way far ahead of the batch of vehicles that was at the traffic junction after the light turns green.

don't race on the roads, need to get kicks, watch racing on tv or internet. it is like porn, you watch cause you don't do it lol!

after watching, get "kicks" already , "release" tension, "climax" & then go sleep. wake up & become a slow & safe rider on the street again.

 

i don't watch porn cause i get too much sex in real life but i watch racing cause i ride too slow in real life.

 

btw, kr is not that fast anyway, got gilera runner & rxz & even kupchai beat me before. there will always be another faster rider / bike ( eg. class 2 / 2A ) on the road. you can't win them all.

Running away from the rest of the pack would probably be the safest thing you can do. Only you and the road and yes, I rev high and run away from the pack, the problem is the next traffic light.

Hi, Can I share my stories....Im expat and not speaking English as 1 st language so please bear w me ya...

 

Ive been riding for about 5months and 2 times I almost got kiiled on the rd...or more but below stories are some of most scary situation i encountered.....

 

1st time, I was riding on Cavenagh rd...got car infornt just having enough distance...then from behind got this big Lexus or BMW following me....want to take over but on coming traffic is keep coming...as his car is so big it is almost impossible to squeeze and take over me...I was not too slow, well just nice speed following front car ya....bit to keep left as I cant see traffic at front...then on the one of the curb this stupid driver squeeze and took over me...I was less than 1cm from the body of the car....after that he was satisfied of taking over me or what, drive infornt of me so arrogant for few senconds......then he kinda jam brake....as cant see how is the traffic be coz of the bend.....I was lucky enough to hav enough distance as I know the bend always bit scary if u go too fast....anyway I was also lucky enough to be balanced and let him go squeeze in but seriously.....I thought the moment he passed next to me was....FXXK, Im not gonna make it.....after this happen my heart beat goes so fast....the shock and anger comes up....(still riding) from behind try to remember his number plate....then I saw 2 TP infornt later on.....as I was shocked and all that, I talked to them at traffic light and stoppped them and told them about what just happen to me....they said I can report if I remember the number plate.... anyway, end up I forgot...what I remember was EVA blah blah blah....

since the day, every time see similar looking car I check number plate....if oneday I find you.....I will report you!!!!!!!!! ( knowing that too late:( though...)

I was from PIE exit at Stevens rd then turn left to the Bukit Timah rd, go all the way and turn in to Cavenagh rd.....on Bukit Tmah rd keep left and usually lane change to the right at half way through the slop as I will be turning right later on.....after I change to the right lane, one stupid driver from the left lane cut in suddenly infront of me w/o signal....the distance i had was only about one car....I had no choice to slow down but got cars behind so i only could slow down bit....so I keep to left and took over him from left in order to prevent me from hitting his car or behind car to hit me....seriouly it was no choice.....then right after i took over I needed to be back to the lane again as Im turning right at nxt traffic light so i signal right and moved back to his lane as there was enough gap bw his car and one front of him....then right after I lane change he lane changed to left lane but so near to my tail....and i looked at him and he was 40-50s chinese looking guy.....and he looked at me and he showed me the attitude of I WIN, u LOSER....I was like WTF.....for what reason u cut into my lane when didnt needed and drive so close to me to threaten me...

 

Inconsiderate drivers.....seriously this is a crime....I know that some drivers thinks that riders are annoying but you dont need to do these kind of things rite..?! its like you threaten me w a knife suddenly in a town as you dont like how i look or walk or....somethin....just ur not holding knife but ur weapon is a car on the rd......

yesterday almost got kill while riding along corporation road. a prime-mover was behind me. i started to slow down while appoarching traffic light when the light turned amber. came to a complete stop when i heard loud horning from behind. immediately realise that bugger must have overlook the traffic light and thought i did some sort of sudden stop.

 

released the brake and pray for the best. in no time, felt a light knock on my bike. got down, put on the main stand, signal for the driver to come down and inspect my bike. thankfully there was no damage. butter his behind well, mount my bike and move off while giving thanks to my Maker.

 

thankfully he is not towing any container if not he might not be able to stop in time. with the weight of such vehical, i won't be typing here today.

 

 

I try to remind myelf to look into mirror when stopping at traffic lights. There are a couple of times where I had to beat the traffic lights together with the vehicle behind me!

i seriously wonder what's wrong with some taxi drivers. they really ought to be shot and shot again with their kind of driving on the roads..

 

i was driving on CTE--> PIE, heading home around 12+ in the night.. traffic was normal, and i was happily following the car in front on 1st lane around 100kmh..

 

and then i saw this comfort cab on my rearview mirror.. he was pretty far off, say 200m or so.. i saw he high-beamed me once.. he was so far off, and he wasn't coming at tat kind of fast and furious speed.. plus the car in front wasn't moving that fast as well.. so i didn't bother..

 

and so when we reached just before bradell flyover where the road widens out into 5 lanes, i sticked to lane 2 after the widening as i was preparing to filter out to PIE on the left.. and lane 1 was closed of road works..

 

the f&^Rker taxi just swerve out from lane 1 when i'm just next to him! had to take evasive action and e-brake just to siam the idiot..

 

best part, he act as if he wasn't in the wrong when i pass him. WTF?! i should have just rammed into him and let him kiss the barriers and barricades for he's in the wrong and i have the right of way.

Was going back from Mustafa, was on ECP-AYE there. Riding relaxed in the extreme middle lane. Car from left slowly come out of filter lane, slowly move from extreme left lane to my lane...WHILE I WAS RIGHT BESIDE THE BLOODY CAR, mind you I wasn't in his blind spot, I was where the driver sits. Horn2 and the mofo still slowly moving in, had to take evasive action, smoke the mofo lor. Went far far ahead then settled somewhere safer ahead.

just now while on the way home, at the T junction outside safra mt faber waiting for the green arrow to turn into telok blangah way, i had this tingling sensation telling me not to move off even when the green arrow is already lit. 1/2 a second later, a mofo ran the red lights. knn if i gone off i will be road kill liao
