Anybody knows other than HL Cycle, which other shops do spraying of bikes??

 

Many shops do spray painting of bikes. For me, I always go to Planet Motors in Ubi Ave 3 and the boss (Ah Choong) will help to dismantle the fairings and send to the spray shop that is somewhere in the middle of that stretch of road. It is beside Jin Cheng Vespa shop.

Hi there. Normally we do it in Jb. Much cheaper. In sg most of the shop price are almost the same

you mentioned hl cycle. Maybe you can look for yingHao. He is a nice chap. Maybe can reduce abit .

i have tried out all 3 different types of 2t & was just sharing what i observed & NOT complaining about Fc & $. ie. Castrol Go & Esso & Shell & SPC ( mineral types ), SPC Alpha & Esso & Shell & Castrol Power1 ( semi-syn types ) & Putoline ( fully syn that i tried only once ). Similar results on my recently purchased KR ( only this year ) & my previous bike ( previous 11 years ) that is NOT a kr.

 

strange to hear that swipe from someone who claims to use SPC mineral 2t & 92. Strange indeed.

1) piston jam can be due to different reasons, of course. Nothing is guaranteed in life.

 

2) last time my old bikes also use cheap 2t no problem but as i am still new to kr, i no dare say so confident sure no problem. i believed i shared before how 1 time in 2005, i forgot to top up 2t as i was too busy working as dispatch. my previous bike suddenly got strange sound & stopped ! i parked at the side of AYE & found out my 2t pump empty! i called my colleague ( drive van, no ride bike, don't even know what is 2t ) buy any 2t from petrol station & send it to me. I poured the 2t into my pump & kick start & continued to do my deliveries, NO PROBLEM ! even myself & my van driver colleague was amazed.

 

3) "old" bikes like your RD & my Lao K really rules !

u can try hou heng in ah gua lane. very gd service ah, quite cheap also. my friends overhauled his fireblade there. engine smooth like nvr before.

he will tow ur bike from singapore to his shop for 60 ringgit only.

URGENT!!! I was supposed to go to that shop but open up engine in sgp alr.. Open up engine Liao..

Piston broke into peices.. Conrod 45 degree bent.. Block also gone.. It's just been a month I took out the bike... Not sure how my piston broke into peices.. Still possible to tow to oh heng?? Engine striped... Scared do jb they put in local stuff.. All in all the overhaul quote given by my shop 800.. 2nd hand top blk.. Rest 1st hand.. Afraid ltr they chop me... Any friends out there mind tagging me to tat shop.. Text me at 96476305 if ure free ...
