kaoz! met with some prob with my bike...

alright, tried to open valve today.. go smoothly to 7k rpm.. sound changed, valve opened.. fine... after some distance, think its enough.. so slow down...sound strange...

then think valve not closed...

qn1 How to close valve properly?

after opening valve, my battery become very weak... when on high beam, the blue light seriously weak...

qn2 open valve will take alot of energy from batt?

checked bike before off engine... while idling, light flicker... trottle abit, light getting stronger, so suppose rectifier working... checked batt water... level between high and low

qn3 Is the battery charging while the bike is running or need to go up to some rpm then will charge?

o_O o_O Thankz!?

btw all kr bike when idling the light will flicker.....

and also the valve open is at 7000rpm and above..... XD nt below.......

by rite the valve will use power from dynamo nt batt....

and also when u use high beam is it at idling or at moving time?

coz if at idling sure weak 1.... as long bike dun stall..... haha......

yeah.... 2 stroke uses 2t to lubricate valve so need quite some time to warm up

4 stroke using 4t to lubricate the piston so once u hear the 'mouse noise' (usually known in hokkien) soften, u can go off... same thing, first thing in morning don high rev, coz nt totally warm up, need some distance b4 ur valve can be opened smoothly.......(sme advices i taken frm bikeshop)

hey buddy 2 stroke uses 2T for upper engine lubrication and engine oil for lower parts not valve leh dont humtum onli leh

there's no such thing as mouse noise in the 4 stroke

never high rev at any time of the day as long ya ride is cold

4 stroke valve runs by cam shaft

for 2 stroke? start the bike 1st time of the day definately muz use choke, dun throttle....... at 1st bike rev is high after a while(2mins-5mins) will be lowered coz warm up liaoz, slowly pull back choke(dun on headlight 1st).

when pull back choke u will feel bike goin to die off, throttle abit(arnd 1500rpm) to warm up farther.

for kips that is well tuned with headlights off ya never need choke to start it even

in the wee morinig hours

blip the throttle couple of times before would be nice

when the last time ya did valve cleanin i mean thorough dismantling the whole

block down ?

when the ride is on the move the blue light flickers ya got loose connections

nothing to do with valve stuck

the age of ya battery ?

battery will be charged when cruising

engine department will manage themselves once started

do choke thingy for 2-5mins.....(don rev throttle yet)

slowly pull back choke(rev a bit nt higher then 1500rpm)

for bikes like tis right need to open valve once in a fortnight coz the valve will jam if nt open frequently.......

NO.1 never use choke to subsitute for warming up unless u got deep pockets

NO.2 kips valve will still jam even ya open the valve once a week cause carbons clogs around for sure thats which falls under engine servicing maintenance

there are couple of possibilities for weak blue light when moving like ya bulb is

goner or loose connections

battery shelf life is about there try with multimeter to check voltage level

last but not least before ya ride dies on ya go and do the thorough valve cleaning

or else face the consequences of being stranded , rear-butted by vehicles behind

ya

1 of the methods i use to close back valve will be to take the bike out to expressway at midnight when there are lesser vehicles

whack to ard 8K RPM in 3rd gear

then after travelling 2-3KM slowly up gear to 4th and maintain 7K RPM

then slowly to 5th gear and then to top gear

in order not to face this problem again...try not to close yr throttle too abruptly when u know yr valve is opened....

does the highbeam indicator light still appear weak after yr valve closed back?

:btw: did u managed to get the bike cover i left for u?
