Renewed just now. COE $1062 now expired on 2018. Rd Tax $78. Insurance $446 (price go up sia. last time $369) but i pay NTUC 0% installment(not credit card ah) 6 month so its ard $75 per month.

 

Now eating grass till end month. until new grass grow. Suspect MP will love me for this.

Its normal i guess... A vehicle after 10yrs wil ve an increase of 10%-20% to the road tax. This is wat i know. My bike is now more than 14yrs old.

I ve tried on my rxz last time. Suppose to improve cooling for ur EO. Hot air can escape thru the tub n reduce high pressure in the engine.

Tis is my opinion only.. Others if ve better understandin, do share:thumb:

Yap!...same reason. The main advantage is that there is less risk of blowing engine block gasket when you ride real hard for long distance especially having slightly more oil than the recommended level.

could be your battery cannot charge...wat u can do as temporary measure first check the batt positive electode if got a layer of algae lookin thing...scrap it off n im sure ur bike can start better....buy a batt n charge it n instal it yourself..not tt ex..less than 50 can get...

 

Hi guys,

got my ver s last month. its a FP plate. Just now while travelling back home from work at the flyover from west coast highway towards city, was caught in a major traffic jam. while squeezing through at the extreme left lane, suddenly my bike felt heavy and it started to slow even though i rev up the throttle. i stop the bike, change to gear 1 but it doesn't want to move. even neutral gear also cannot push the bike . it seems that something had jammed the wheel. stop engine and let it cool down for about 15 min then can move. after that ride slowly till reach home. wear and tear thing is expected as its an old bike but i dont expect this to happen during holiday period. most of bikeshop close .

any one of u had experience this before??

More detailed explainations... But, must be careful not to allow water, dirt or anything harmful to enter. Tis may corrode and damage inside the engine.

Must adjust the tube in a way tat both rain n dirt wil not enter...

in motor thiam ppl say this is for the heat:angry: from the engine to release faster. so engine won't be easy overheat:P . but for me i try b4 tat this thing i pay 10 buck to the shop for nothing( totally decoration). and worst thing if water drip into the tube(if u place wrong or heavy rain u still riding)... u know wat happen after next when ur engine drink some water...

Yes, agree... The main problem is tat water may enter the engine oil. Then in a few days time the EO wil be in white color. Indication of water mixing with EO.

Face tis problem last time whn my water pump leaks...

Yah after all that NCD and loyalty crap. Its $400+. Mine is 2nd Party. If I get the 3rd Party F&T then it will be much cheaper. Yup NTUC has the Giro 0% installment plan lor. Its good for people who cant save lump sum of money due to Itchy Hand for example ME!

yes its true..

 

after the 10th year.. it will increase 10% every year..

 

11th year - 110%

12th year - 120%

13th year - 130%

14th year - 140%

15th year - 150%

 

after 15th year, it'll remain constant at 150% until its scrapped.. Equating to $97.50 per 6 months.. just the gahment way of discouraging old machines on our roads..

as many would say.. the eo breather is suppose to let hot air out from the engine oil chamber supposedly to let the engine oil cool down.

 

argueably, there's another side of the coin whereby the engine oil actually functions differently under diff temperature i.e. the ratings 10w-40 etc etc..

hence its not recommended to place the breather coz it doesn't let the eo run its function. some of the s4 bros i asked tell me,..they unintstall it after putting the breather coz they claim the engine runs sluggish.. others claimed it to be purely cometic.. sum of the mech also said this to me..

 

just sharing with you guys..

I oso scare of this engine breather .. while moving yes it released air even rain no worries. if park station that the problem .. I water vapour, water etc will it enter through that little hole.
