LOL! Ok lorr.. I stick to 140. Afterall, safety can never be compromised. Guess I have to find other ways to make my ride look bigger without changing the bike itself. Haha

use max 150. dun use 160. it will be very very tight at the edge, when tyres are new it may be ok, but halfway through the life span of tyres. balding plus squaring will be give u handling problem. unless u thinnk ur life is not important, please dun try what is not recommended by manufacture.

we are riders, safety is at the top most priority.

Cheers

bros, chance upon this new product, seems good http://www.ceramizer.com/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/

care to comment on this Mr apek?

This kind of product is not new and comes in many other brands and packaging long time liao. It's good for what it does and claims as far as heat dissipatation and making things runs cooler. The real stuff is that engine blocks are stripped apart and physically ceramic coated for the purpose. Since this comes in as mixtures aith eo..you have to be concern about using it on bikes as most are wet clutch (clutch soak in eo) not like those of car know as dry clutch. Unless the brand u buy says it can be use in abike engine with wet clutch...I guess its a good product.

Guys another question :cheeky:

Is it normal when you're changing gear, the gear gives a loud tak sound and is quite reasonably hard to kick compared to a 2b bike?

WTS: CB400-PB1

Bring tyre patch kit, extra coolant and extra fuse for the trip. Before proceeding, do check your coolant hoses for holes or leakage, check radiator whether its working, check your front and back brakes, top up brake fluids if empty, check tyre pressure, check engine oil level, check your battery, check your lightings and signals, etc. These are the important ones you need to check and I can think of at the moment. Others will add in if there's more. haha. Cheers and ride safe bro!

*like*

Thanks alot bro.

Simple tools to bring are a set of Allen keys, wrenches of sizes that fit your bike. On my version S, key ones are 8,10,12,13,14,18,24. Chain lube if you are not using O/X ring chains. Screwdriver (both the - and + heads) and pliers. Some extra bolts and nuts in case any comes loose. I had one disappear from my side rack before. Bungie cords, cable ties and duct tape are some great tools to have around to patch things. Sounds like a lit but you guys can distribute the load and share.

I also recommend Ride On TPS for tires as this gives you peace of mind from tire punctures.

Bro, wat's TPS?

Thanks for the advice too.

Tyre pressure sensor. Correct me if wrong haha.

BTW thanks AHpek for your special coolant which saved my verS leaking block @ sparkplug hole. I must say the thing really works for mi bike and so far no leaks @ side hole or coolant flooding at sparkplug for the past 1 mth!! Awesome!!:thumb::thumb:

Normal la bro the tak sound. If hard to change gear, maybe its time to change ur EO. If still hard, then clutch plate la.

Better stop riding when the high temp light is on.

Check your coolant in the reserve tank, see if it is boiling.

checked coolant reserve. No sign of boiling and have sufficient amount of coolant in there.

really puzzled. fan does turn on though. Could it be the poor quality coolant that in there?

Did you open up your meter casing or change the electronic board inside recently?

Sometime faulty electronic board will cause the high temperature light to go crazy.

It did happen to me before when i got a chiong one from ah boy.

Next time when the high temperature light is on again,

check if your radiator and the hose that is connected to the radiator is very hot.

I'm thinking if is it possible that the coolant are jammed and cannot flow back to the reserve.

Not very sure about this, maybe ah pek give us some help.

the dip stick is part of the engine oil screw cap, on the right side. for accurate reading, the bike should be upright
