ouhkie. i just flushed coolant just now. alamak hondaman. same case ah. coe need to renew, suspension also need to change. fewh! lucky coe till 2008. But INSURANCE! die laa.

 

im searching for 2nd hand bellypan. coz i think buying the first hand for cosmetic purposes is no use la. and my ver s is SO FULLY STOCK. handlebar, uncle2 grip, no accessories. the only thing i do is only operate the endcan. heh. cheapo. no $ buy yosh.

 

so 4pt coz $50? i thot $25 only at the list of prices?

 

6pt grouding cost $50,4pt should be cheaper

unique motor maybe can bring a bottle of petrol with u:cheeky:,cause in case ur petrol dry up, ur bike engine will just cut off

the petrol bottle is for the "testing mileage" thingy

 

as said by tim17.. 4point grounding charged at bikeworks $30.

As to what it does is simply rerouting your electrical parts to proper

grounding points.. It is said to better pickup and smoother throttle control.

please go back a few pages n read up... its discussed and quite informative..

 

btw bro syarif..since u just got ur vS.. just my humble opinion.. i recommend

that u check the neccessary maintenance first before spending on secondary

stuff... i.e. brakepads.. tyres...brake fluids. Cosmetic parts and grounding can

be done after that.. u noe lah.. 10 year machine.. theres bound to be

damaged or unmaintained parts..

 

My fren spend loads of money into cosmetic and in the end he realised that

his brake disc koyak already.. now no money to get a new one.. a bit sad

Damns...that day tried wacking the bike but instead higher RPM but Speed slow.

 

Ask my mech and he said Clutch Plate finish. But he said can still ride till 100+ but dun rev too fast or it wont go up. So now slow pick-up wins the race.

 

Bro Hondaman! Talking about clutch plates, I just changed mine at Unique a few hours back cos there was a break in my work! Changed without engine oil for $120. Yeah.. When u rev hard, the rpm is high and the bike sounds very loud, but the pick-up Even a Kup beside me went faster WITH A PILLION!

 

After change.. Fuah! Great pick-up, really.

 

Saw the worn plates when Ah Kee was changing the plates.. Apparently the face has been smoothened and the ridges are thin.

a good recommendation is tt its time for u to get a bitubo shock n wala....no matter how heavy ur n ur pillion n boxes are......ur rear tyre wont hit the underseat....

hehehe...my guess is ur preload too soft...perhaps u shld click it to a harder preload?...

Bro Wadthefark, yeah thats the price they quote me. But my mech says its $200 coz he will change everything lor. Including the metal something inside. But for now still can use it so I use 1st liao. No money sia.

firstly, you got several damaged items to repair..

secondly, coe is f**king expensive 1k plus..

thirdly, im sure you noe of the 10% increment every year of road tax after the 10th year..

evertyhing adds up.. might as well invest in class 2..

next, if even u renew coe.. when u decide to sell it one day.. not many would wanna buy it..

unlike gsx4 or cbr4, where there's no more in production, s4 has..which makes people think

twice about buying an old bikle when they can get a new one.. hence fetching an even lower price

Class 2 is in my mind but it will take time lah bro. Personally Class 2A bikes are ideal for Singapore roads. Especially Super4. No one can look down on or look up to u. Coz u in between.

 

Its either I sell and ride transport which I hate or keep and extend COE. I dun mind abt the repairs and Rd Tax. hard decision coz i love my bike

incompetence and recklessness. Its people like these that tarnish the image

my CB400verS is unlike your "old too heavily modded bike" bro (The verS thats always heat up ). Its an old bike but its still kick a punch and I treasure bike coz I love riding.

 

All the bros n sis bike in this nonvtec thread has problem bro. so ITS COMMON. not only my bike spoil all the time.

But the irritating one is the Scrambler group. I came home at 3am then heard this Srambler engine revving noise. Go down the carpark and saw this Rempiticons boy with "P" plate trying to impress 3 Rempiticons girls with his bike. It was very loud. Then he still smiling haolian when the girls clapped their hands. I stare at him, he dun care.
