i also find harley ok mah.... IMHO, Can-AM spyder will be my vote, saw it at highway

during peak hour (accident somemore), that poor thing stuck behind cars with no air con. :cheeky:

beside it catches lots of head-turners OTR, i find it not very suitable in our small busy

island esp day-time.

The worst bikes are those with terrible riders!

Posted
i guess maybe they are one of those that does it so we kinda hit the spot on them....

I am totally ok with harvey or liter bike sound as they are those low bassy sound... I guess most people will also feel that its loud and thats all...

But loud high pitch sound is just irritating.....

Guess you've never heard superbikes at high RPMs. Anyway 2Ts have narrow power bands, you have to rev to get anywhere.

There is no worst bike in sg, the noise most complain in 2 strokers are usually the riders modifying the exhaust and whacking the bike in the middle of the night.

Look at the bike, just as itself. See it without price. See it without the rider. See it as it just came out of the factory.

Then make your decision on the "worst" bike.

I honestly can't.

Correct...should be "Worst rider on the bike". Then i will have afew to name...

ur being off-topic, bro...

mac n pizzahut riders, they are despatch riders sending orders on a time limit + its a commission thing for each docket u get, so naturally u'd wanna send as many as possible and as quickly as possible. So in the process, u will tend to be ignorant of ur surroundings. Calling them riding dangerously on the road not a good thing.

and mind you, making that statement will only make it seem like ur flaming every single mac, pizzahut delivery riders. and i used to work despatch for the co. u mentioned.

you got feedback abt their riders, just email/call their companies. Dont see a need to tell everyone on a topic that has nothing to do with what ur ranting about.

cheers :D

it's all these companies fault tat forces dispatch riders to rush deliveries.

instead of debating which is the worst bikes......it won't be much concern.

sg gahmen r cutting off more bike coe...no more poor men ride, only rich men ride.

there won't be any more much worst bikes in sg in the future.

Posted

eg: driving chery QQ will be like driving ferrari in other countries. And riding and maintaining bikes here will be the same as owning normal cars in other countries

Is it cool having a loud 2 stroke bike ? Those high pitch ones ? Have u seen the faces of the pedestrians when any of those bikes whizz past them ?

Ahem~.. chill out folks.

i wont say that there is such thing as a worst bike in SG. each and everybike is designed and built for a purpose... But of course, being this is a forum, def got people dont like a certain type...

A machine (a bike) is only a machine, it does not think, it does not feel... it does not have a mind of its own... So... ultimately who are the ones controlling it? its the rider right? So waking you up rudely in the middle of the night is not that particular bike... Its that particular RIDER who is dragging the bike...

so, its not the bikes fault la.. its the rider.. dont pin point the poor little gasoline drinking machine... pinpoint the ah siao who selfishly thinks that revving it real hard in the middle of the night is real cool...

i cant imagine someone who is rudely awaken by a Y125Z riding by.... then later he goes down stairs to the car park and find a 125z that is parking there silently, then the person start to scold the 125z, and say it being ugly small and noisy...

funny right.. its like the classic case of "its-not-me!!-its-my lookalike's-rider!!" u know that feeling...

There is no replacement for displacement, except for Ah Seng

A bike's decency scale varies proportionately to the rider's squid meter.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

maybe Rd350? heh

u wld b surprised... the sound is actually quite low pitched. unless the owner use custom pipes or something.

but even then, the sound is still significantly lower pitched than the small 2strokers

swiftee, guess we are riding the notoriously 'worst bike' on Sgp roads...

Posted
IMO, loud bike = safer bike...especially when your horn is spoilt.

then the rest of the riders with softer pipe are in danger? i don't agree with that. if a rider is riding defensively at the first place which we should, there will be no need for any extra noise.

if your horn is spoilt, jolly well ride carefully and get it fix.
