Secondly you had kept mentioning changing the battery OK already. So why would you want to spend more money? If you have excess money, do yourself and everybody a favour:-

 

(1) Upgrade your brake lines & pads

(2) Buy better tires (TT900GP or BT 039SS)

(3) Buy some protective gear

(4) If all the above is done and still you have money to spend, arrange an outing amongst the kipsters, offer topay for the night's petrol, food, drinks etc..

(5) Still got money left? Look for me. I have insane ideas how to blow big money onto your KIPS...

cut the crap fr 4 onwards and put the money in my pockets better

if u wanna get spray paint work or get cheap petrol, go m'sia. but like firespitter said, tyres dun get from malaysia. u dunnoe wat sh*t material they use. better to spend money on good quality ones. juz a tot.

2nd hand depend on yr preference and luck

so far the cheapest KRR ever sold that i have heard of is $1.5K

 

and of course the price is cheap cause cosmetic condition isnt too good

bought my FU plate 2nd hand 1year back for $2.6K

prices i mentioned are for machine price only

wah...where got so jia lat

if our malaysian bros can use those parts and still keep their bikes running for 10years and yet can outrun spore 2B bikes anytime....i dont see how bad things can be

 

for tyres i believe 1 of the better models available in JB would be dunlop TT900

 

but of course there are even better ones available in Spore TT900GP or Battalax039SS or 010

 

up to individual preference

though i believe getting the best parts e.g brakes and tyres are truely essential to reduce risk of riding

but i also believe in respecting individual opinions and how their money is to be spent

OEI! Since when I said don't go Malaysia to buy tires??!! Wanna try out how much a defamation suit can cost you is it?

 

If you're on a low budget, you can consider Bridgestone BT039 or Dunlop TT900. These don't cost much. If you can afford a little more, go for Bridgestone BT039SS or Dunlop TT900GP.

Just did my weekly maintenance checks + wash. Was trying out my rear brakes then realised no matter how hard I depressed, the brake lights wouldn't light up. Checked my front brakes and the brake lights lit up. Then I looked around the brake pedal and found that the metal rod that is hooked onto the pedal came off.

 

Squeezed my hands inside from the the left of the bike and managed to hook it back onto the pedal then I re-adjusted it such that the brake lights would light up with a little pressure on the pedal.

 

During the process, I cut my index finger. Must be my bike complaining that I am not riding her enough these days.

 

Moral of the story:

If you have HEL brake lines for your rear, don't get excited and hump it at every traffic light junction.
