heard the price they offer for 1st hand bike is quite alright

but then need to do reloan...heard comments ard bros here that they dont really like pple who pay full cash

i think might be the break pad problem...

plan to change to EBC pad ..any suggestion where to get it ??

do they chnage just rear pad ?? or muz buy in pair

brake pad comes in a pair

a pair meaning 2 pieces

u need 2pieces of pad for the rear brake alone

im all set to get a bike now. but im still at loss as to whether to get from the bike shop or pte seller coz i saw 1 from the classifieds which i've fallen in love with.

now, the thing is.. i've a LOT to learn abt this.. so i can only depend on friends/relatives views.. but to make it worse, they have contrasting views abt this.. i know and im sure u guys get bombarded with such questions before.. but i was wondering if u guys can give me ur views on this. juz so that i can haf a clearer vision as to wats going on out there.

its juz it's so confusing now.. i've always wanted a kr.. and my bloody know it all cousin is like askin me to get a bloody wave which im really not keen on.. and now that i kinda told him that my mind is set.. he's like giving me sh*t abt not getting from pte seller lah.. kick start hard lah.. 2 stroke sucks lah.. tsk tsk!!! it juz gets on my nerves!! so can u guys help me pls?? shall i get from shop or pte seller?? coz wat he tole me kinda make sense to me...

this is wat he said' pte seller wanna make money.. but with COI, the shop also wanna make money..' got 2 parties.. but if i get straight away from shop.. no pte seller involve.. wats ur take on this??

The most important factor in your decision SHOULD BE the bike, meaning whether the bike is good and not who is selling it.

 

Every transaction may it be from the bike shop direct or from the owner, is unique and different from each other. Some bike shops are flexible with the loans/interest rates/conditions/freebies etc... while owners also have different modes of payment/repayment deals which at the level of a "first timer" (Or even some 2nd or 3rd timers) would cause great confusion. Without knowing what type of conditions that come with your particular choice of bike (Is the bike roadworthy, valueworthy and time-bomb ridden?), it would be impossible for anyone to comment is it better to buy from owner or bike shop.

 

Don't confuse yourself further. See the bike, like the bike, talk prices & terms & buy it if everything else is agreeable.

my view would be that to choose between getting frm shop or pte seller would depend on yr budget

if u r able to fork out full cash for the purchase of the bike...then u r better off buying frm pte seller

if u require reloan...then bikeshop is yr answer

 

i believe that bikes u get frm either shop or pte seller all have chances of being in bad condition...whether u get a bike w/ good or bad condition will depend on yr ability to differentiate between the 2 accompanied by a fair amt of luck

both resetable and total mileage not working...

dunnoe where spoil..

suspec cable....

 

how to tell if its the speedo, cable or the thing at the tyre is spoil??

 

this prob common anot??

 

where to get the replacement??? how much??

pls advise...

I believe your speed is also not reading right? If it is, high chances you need to buy a speedo cable.
