Hi, just wanted to check with you guys whether KRR has the same

"spare parts" problem as S4.

 

In the sense that your parts getting stolen?

e.g, go to carpark one morning & found fairings stolen:giddy: (touch wood)

hi anyone tried the diamond vision H4??

will it melt the headlight cover?? (heard b4 3rd party bulb might be heaty)

and isit legal to change to that bulb?? (nowadays dunnoe y alot TP on the road )

i oso thinking of getting a white bright headlight.. thou my fren telling me dat my headlight very bright already and its stock.. dey said its due to some fault in the reflector's angle, too high..

ur bike still so new ... hope change liao will be brighter ..and pls make sure it will melt the reflector ..else LL ..no headlight even worse..

depends on yr luck and where u live

my previous KRR was tempered before

and my friend's KRR has got end-can, rear tail stolen before when he used to park in the same carpark as me

 

anyway this kind of thefts i guess its hard to prevent unless u ride a super rare bike

i've tried a tinted bulb before

looks whiter w/ a bit of green

i believe as long as u get H4 bulb 55/60W

it wont have any negative impact on yr electricals and parts bahz

in fact i still have the bulb w/ me

can sell it off cheaply if anyone wants it

 

usually ROV and TP seldom catch headlight color unless the color is extremely off

it is only during annual inspections when u will kena failed

cause the inspectors only wants to see original yellowish color headlight

hmm i ask my motordiam jus nw.. white blub for $15 wun melt the reflector.. cos voltage rating is same as original... the white will look brighter because it is white..

the vison plus is 30++ and not to say diamond vision 60+++

i found u r quite good in krr's electric parts... even I aso study electronics but when I see the under seat wires still veri scare ( I scare might do it wrong , cos I dunnoe which wire is for which) can pm me how is the bulb?? and if possible teach me how to take out my headlight

i've received quite a few PMs from pple interested in the maintenance manual

im considering scanning and uploading the manual in softcopy adobe acrobat reader file format ard end of november when my exams end

just put ur eyes really close to the headlight... then shd be able to read from there liao ...

oh okay i go check tmr.. ! my heaedlight got change before.. dat time accident.. wats the stock bulb? lets see if the mech got lie to me anot.. he said he gave me original.. my head fairing like fake like dat.. the colour dun match with the fairings...

the shop got sell aftermarket fairing ?? or the mech spray it on his own 1

anyway my bike is 2nd hand 1 nt sure stock bulb anot...

my guess its ard $250

not including fuel tank

 

depending on whether u prefer stock paintwork or resprayed paintwork

if u dont mind stock paintwork then might as well buy new set of fairing then sell off yr existing fairing at low price to recover back some $$
