2B wearing full face a laughter?

i use fullface when i rode a TZm years ago...my frens laughed their heads out sia...they say, i must be crazy to ride with fullface....i just smirked & wear as when i like...gives me a shiok feel...

I even wore fullface when riding RXK then...funny sia...ppl see me like see ghost like dat....I m laughing now remembering that!!!!

bUT today, i think it is not that laughable anymore...even S4 riders wear scramblers helmets....he eheehahahah ehae a hah eha he ahheahhhh....

i've got a friend, his riding sp, he buang while cornering, his right face below eyes... gone.

 

So... is he wearing a full face helmet now? A bit late liao and time cannot be turned back. Because he scared to 'lose face' he now literally lost part of his face.

 

This should be a lesson to the rest who feel 'embarassed' about wearing a full face helmet while riding a 2B bike. And it is cheaper and less painful to learn from the mistakes of others.... believe me.

 

Ever notice that some riders will spend $$$ on accessories for their bikes but will not spend the money to buy a full face helmet? Life is indeed cheap sometimes.

Without a full face helmet, you can impact your face on the road and destroy all your lovely front teeth and jawline... and if the visor of your helmet is the cheapo kind that is not shatterproof... be prepared for your face to be rearranged with extra scars and grooves cut into it.

 

Speed, bike size or cc is not the issue here... its the impact of the unprotected face on the ground.

 

The probability of a new rider getting into an accident higher..... all the more reason P-platers should be wearing a full face helmet.

Totally agree with this point.. worn a half face n caught in an 'light'accident. Lucky the visor is not season yet didnt 'went up' itself when rubbing against the road.. if not i think my face would have some scars left behind.. looking at the visor with all the scratches.. cant imagine if its my face..

ff back then are known for bandits only. so when anyone wore ff helmets, they were known to be a crook. but later since, it has been known to be a safety factor for the head.

 

no matter how bad the image of a ff may be, it's still a huge safety factor.

I believe not matter wat bike u riding , safety always comes 1st . So wearing a full face even when riding a kup kia is not laughable .

 

If touch wood u accident , at least the full face offers more protection then a half face .

 

Was lucky when i was riding a 2B bike n wearing a full face , i skidded n was sliding on the road towards a lamp post face on . Luck was on my side as the full face cushion majority of the impact when i hit the lampost face on . I cant bear to think wat will happen if i was wearing a half face helmet . Maybe tat time , i might need major facial surgery .

2b can wear-2a also can wear so u can wear your nice helmet without changing.

 

when a ppl fall then he or she will know how importent a ff is.without fall u wont know.

 

nowaday it not that exp for a not bad FF,less then 100 buck and u can get a long lasting one.normal helmet $40-60,FF $50-Unlimited.so what the diff:)

 

those 2a or 2 ppl laughing at 2b for wearing FF is ok since they are just doing what others are doing in the past.(ppl laugh at them last time,now it their turn that all)

if they laugh at u most probably is they jealous that you got the money to buy a fullface yet they don't have one. just don care abt them la. safety comes first. i have experience myself for not wearing a fullface and lost my tooth. is a painful experience yet i can only regret. so wear fullface is better la. at least it will help some when buang :thumb:

In the past i was like others being ignorant and thinks that wth sb wore a FF today while on my way to get a FF saw a RXK uncle wearing a OGK FF by my side . . kinda ashame of myself when thinking back.

dis is not the 1st time i'm postin dis pic in sbf.. its taken after my crash in malaysia.. juz imagine wat kind of injuries i wld have gotten if i wasnt wearin a full face helmet..
