All of our Owners Manuals are online at our Honda MPE Website under Owning a Honda. We do not have the earlier models that they have requested as we only officially brought this model into the country from 2008.

guys!! some help needed! something is wrong with my s4...when moving off the pipe sound different, idling is as usual but when moving off around 1 to 3 rpm the bike like no power... after 3 rpm then everything normal again even the sound of the pipe... anyone knows whats wrong...it happen after i stop my bike for 5 to 10 mins then move off again...

Sounds like my company lorry leh... I park under the tree with the engine running with air-con take a short nap about 20-30mins then the exact same thing that u describe will happen... but if u stop off the engine for 5-10 minutes then everything back to normal...

Newbie here and seek all ur advice... Juz bought spec 3 and my problem is... When I throttle seems like there's no air blow coming out from the exhaust. At first was ok but now when riding can feel like no air blowing.. What is the cause of this problem? Anyone encounter b4? Now the bike feel like force to move on. Pls advice thanks

I dun lube cos i dunno how to take out and fix it back. But if u know how to do, it is recomedded and if u dun mind, can teach me?

guys, i lubed my cable already. but, i did not took it out as i found it to be quite troublesome, as it goes all the way under the tank to the other side.

 

what i did was just to unhook it from the lever, and unhook it from the catch at the other side of the cable. dripped singer oil bit by bit, and push and pull the cable for the oil to flow. alot of rust went out through the other end of the cable. although it doesn't feel good as new, it is way better when i first got the bike.

 

maybe you guys want to give this method a try. and, anyway how much does replacing the cable cost?

how much does it cost to overhaul a s4? is there any price difference between lets say version s vs vtec 1 etc?

Bro, I had a similar problem to you. I had a weak air emission from my exhaust. What I did was to change my air filter and did carbs balancing of fuel/air intake. I suggest you go back to your bikeshop since it's still under warranty.

Or it could be your exhaust itself. What exhaust you using?

And I have a weird problem..

 

When I reached a carpark and I wanna reserve my bike in while clutch in on first gear.. My engine will died off.. It happened a few times already.. Any known cause?
